Hope you'll join us regularly .... this is a fabulous group of folks who gather here and it won't take long to fall in love with the place. The best place on the 'net!

Glad to hear the new babies are doing well! They are sooooo adorable!! My favorite stage in growth is at about 3 to 4 weeks old. That's when they're really getting playful and are so funny to watch. Who needs tv when there are kittens around? LOL!

I just got an e-mail from one of my pen pals on the "Connie" and he asked me to pass this message to everyone here at the Canteen:

"tell the great folks out there in
the world that we are doing our part, and for all of you to keep those
flags flying."

It was quite a surprise to hear from him (a VERY pleasant one) and nice that he sent a message for everyone. The attitude of the people I've gotten to know over there is something I deeply admire.This is a prime example of that attitude!

borrowed some from the support rallies you posted and sent them to my penpal buddies. They loved them, and said thanks!

Good going, Beth! I've been sending rally pics for the past several weeks and, yes, the men and women overseas appreciate seeing the support around the country.

Keep checking the rally threads each weekend and sending more pics. We're getting the word out overseas, regardless of what the news media chooses to show. :-)
