Martha Burk thinks war with Iraq would ''alter the tone and possibly the size'' of her planned protest during the Masters.
But Burk, chair of the National Council of Women's Organizations, said Wednesday she still intends to protest April 12 at Augusta National unless the all-male club allows female members or postpones the tournament.

Martha Burk knew before today that nobody really gave a sh!t about her protest. Now that nobody will give even half a sh!t, she's laying the groundwork for calling the whole thing off.
Probably so she can stay home and watch the Masters that day.
''But for Ms. Burk to use the possibility of war as an opportunity to inject herself into the news again is the lowest sort of self-promotion,'' Greenspan said.
''The tournament is more than a golf match it is a large corporate party, liquor and entertainment flows freely throughout the week,'' she said. ''These are things I don't think the country is going to want to see happening during a time of national conflict.''
Yeah right, people are going to stop going to restaurants, bars, parties, concerts, plays and other forms of entertainment. The Oscars postponed?! The Master Will likely have it's usual millions of television viewers and attendees. Martha Burk certainly has a knack for discrediting herself and defaming the groups she represents in the process.
Last week, Burk's request to protest at Augusta National's front gate was denied, prompting her to sue the city to get permission.
LOL!!! If you can't get your way stomp your feet and threaten to sue.
''If the country is at war it will alter the tone and possibly the size of any action that we bring,'' Burk told The Associated Press.
One of Burk's allies, the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, said Tuesday it will reduce its numbers and demands during the Masters because of the imminent possibility of war.
''We have had a change of mind-set,'' Mathis said. ''There is some feeling that we would have a more muted position if the country is at war. Not that we wouldn't be there, but we'd be there, perhaps, in a less confrontational way.''
Can you say "damage control". Sounds like Jesse Jackson and Martha Burke stepped on their d*cks.
LOL! She's injecting herself into Al Gore's zeitgeist!
