BOMBING SEEMS TO HAVE BEGUN NEAR BAGHDAD, CHECK THIS WEBCAM, YOU CAN HEAR THE BOMBS IN THE DISTANCE
msnbc ^

It seems to have begun. Go to this link: http://www.msnbc.com/m/mw/mw.asp?t=V&id=live_video/chan1&sk=live_video&pl=&name=cover&opt=0 and turn up your volume. You can hear what sounds like planes (who knows, maybe its missles) flying overhead, then you hear what sounds like bombs going off in the distance. This just began about 10 minutes ago, it has been totally quiet.

I thought the opening salvo was supposed to be absolutely massive - - designed to stun everybody (and hopefully make somebody close to Saddam simply kill him and end the whole fiasco.)

They didn't just razz the sirens.

There were TWO rounds of BOMBS DROPPING!

It's quiet for the moment.

We're listening and watching MSNBC's webcam.

I can hear AAA in the distance. Sporadic.

The news reports are that the US had some information about the possible location of some Iraqi leaders. These missles might have had a very limited target.

Anti-Aircraft Artillery. The tracer fire you see will be from AAA.
