I'm not catholic, so I don't appreciate your situation. Anyone else chime in on this?
Personally, ?????

I'm not Catholic either. I just do this every year to do it.

'Tis a Catholic and Lutheran thing to give up one's favorite things during Lent. Most popular, cocktails, and tobacco.

rintense, it's great of you to give up ANYTHING for Lent. It strengthens the person who does it. I'm proud of you.

I'm not Catholic, but I don't do booze. Really would enjoy a glass of wine (rose) on occasion, but since I've been born again, anything alcohol (1/2 glass of wine) gives me a roaring headache and I wake up the next day feeling like I have been on a week-long drunk. To me, it's not worth the headache.
