Regarding your suggestion of a real filibuster, that would require those soft assed Republicans to actually discomfort themselves for a few days.

Do you honestly expect a gentleman to actually work for his constituents? Perish the thought. Filthy things should be grateful that we represent them in name if nothing else.

DemonicRats or Republican'ts, they are all the same. They only do what they have to and only when they have no other choice. It's the greatest sorrow of the Republic that we are represented by a roman senate.

You are absolutely right about that. I'm constantly amazed at the sorry state of representation we have in this republic. I don't see it changing any time soon.
