I see that he is competing with Baghdad Bob for atention. Knowing how these weasels operates he must be in someone's payroll.

Scott Ritter makes a living out of being an idiot.LOL. But, like the Palestinian homicide-bombers, he'll have to find a new employer now.

I'm sorry. I didn't think anyone was reading the thread, so I just listened. I will be recording it at the 2 a.m. repeat and will listen to it again and glean some more comments for a later posting. I'll ping you when I finish. It might take a few days, as he talked fast with no 'ah's' or 'um's.' Very articulate and answered every question from those attending, even getting scattered applause thoughout his presentation. If C-Span posts a transcript, it would be worthing grabbing. I'll look for it in the meantime.
In a nutshell, he will probably be looking for support for impeachment if WMD are not found. He doesn't realize that it might take a couple of years to do that. He said that the only legal justification for the war was the forged document shown congress concerning the tons of WMB sent from Africa. Said that Congress was lied to and the war was not justified on that basis. Less so if other WMD are not found. Much more, but I'd like to put it in context.

He wants to be a player. Doesn't realize you can't play anymore if you lose all your marbles.

I didn't get a suitable recording. Ordering information for the CSPAN tape:
__________________________________________________________ Speech
Iraq's Vanishing Weapons
Palestine Center
Washington, District of Columbia (United States)
ID: 176351 - 04/25/2003 - 0:59 - $29.95
Ritter, Scott, Chief Inspector (Fmr.), United Nations.
__________________________________________________________
He tells history of inspections, Iraq's non-compliance, his reason for resignation, how Bush got support from congress to go to war, long rant on his understanding of the rule of law and the Constitution; how much of a patriot he is and how concerned he is that the rule of law should be upheld; how Bush should be held accountable if WMD not found (should be impeached); warned of rejection of US by Iraqi people if WMD not found, likening our exit their to our exit in Vietnam, etc, etc, etc.
I'd like to order the tape for historical reference, but will wait for CSPAN repeat. Thirty bucks for a one-hour speech? Not on my budget.

The liberal media is a joke, this is like asking Natalie Maines to become a spokesperson for the USO. What credibility does Mr Ritter have after taking 400k to make a movie for Iraq ?
To: Eastbound
just tape it if you can

I don't have time to transcribe while he talks, but Hannity's radio show (Hannity.com) is rebroadcast over the internet all night and until tomorrows live show starts. It's a loop, so it'll be in the second hour of the 3 hour show.....
