seems like some arguements were brewing or misunderstandings...
I thought you were over there... ;o) I was on another, but things weren't *heated* when I was there. I don't think they were at least. Sometimes I think the problem is not so much disagreements and flames as it is people taking them way too seriously, and not being able to leave them on the thread where they happened.

Where is Scott Peterson?
http://www.kron4.com/Global/story.asp?S=1238509 BAY AREA (KRON) -- Many people are wondering why the man who helped lead the search for his missing pregnant wife and poured out his heart on national television, seems to have dropped from sight recently. Scott Peterson hasn't been seen in the usual places, and friends and family who often knew his whereabouts aren't talking.
If Peterson's attorney, Kirk McAllister, knows where Scott is, he emphatically isn't saying. He brushed by reporters without comment Wednesday except to say he was on his way to court.
A phone answering machine at the home of Scott Peterson's sister, Susan Caudillo refers media calls to the Laci Hotline. A woman answering the Laci Hotline takes a message but says the family will not be returning calls. Curiously, it's the same answering service woman that takes calls to Scott Peterson's warehouse headquarters for his agricultural chemical business. And the message is the same.
If the Modesto Police have an idea where Scott Peterson is, and you might think they would, they're keeping it to themselves. At a news conference Tuesday, Detective Doug Ridenour said, "I don't know where Scott Peterson is and if I did, I couldn't tell you."
For quite a while after Laci Peterson disappeared, Scott wasn't hard to find. He'd show up daily at the volunteer search headquarters to help work the phones. Or he could be found working around the Modesto house he and Laci shared.
Even when reporters and camera crews filled his street Scott came and went at will.
But today, although the grass looked freshly cut, neighbors say the house has looked abandoned lately.
Neighbor Cory Emerson described the house as "very quiet, no cars there, don't see any movement. Obviously, the yard is getting done, but don't know by who."
Out at the edge of town, a spokesman at the Del Rio Golf Course country club told KRON 4 News that Scott had sold his membership.
In San Diego, camera crews have been staking out the home of Peterson's parents, but no one has reported seeing Scott. A sister there told a television news reporter that Scott was not in San Diego.
Laci Peterson's dad doesn't know where Scott is either, but he hopes the police do.
"That's what I want is some justice done here. I can't see Scott being out there free and that would just eat me up. It'll happen, very soon," he says.

I hope they DNA test the babe against Scott P. Somehow I don't see a man killing his wife and baby over an affair on his part. But if he found out the baby was not his, that would be a strong motive for murder.

Greta asked how many boats launch from the Berkeley boat ramp. I heard four boats launched on 12/24 but using these tickets (dates and transaction numbers) we can get an idea of the average daily usage. Less than two per day and that little boat would stand out like a sore thumb. In twelve days only 21 boat launches. Why didn't anybody see him?

But if he found out the baby was not his, that would be a strong motive for murder. Agreed. Heaps him with shame and makes a slave of him for the next 21 years to boot?
He might be a little ticked. But how would he KNOW?

I belive the baby is Scotts. I just think this guy was leading a double life and HE decided he would rather collect money than be a responsible husband and father. Laci clearly had NO clue that she was "not" happily married. He's murdering SCUM. I know they will get rich DNA samples from the unbilical cord and I also believe they will get a DNA profile on Laci from the cortex of the bone. LE need to following that creep RIGHT NOW. I'm convinced he's in a state of self-preservation panic. *burn baby burn* is all I can say to SNOTT.

That's what I thought but I'm not so sure anymore. An alibi putting him at the scene of the body disposal? He said he went fishing around Brooks Island. They found Laci and baby drifting distance from the island.
To: RGSpincich
I guess it just wasn't busy at the marina that day. I wonder if he went to the windward side of Brooks Island to offload so he won't be seen from shore. That entire area is so open...

Okay, I know he tried calling Amber after Laci was reported missing, but surely she's not saying that he's STILL calling Amber??
To: Yeti
No, I'd say it's cranberry.
