I'm afraid that the establishment media will simply stonewall this to death, despite the direct revelation having been made by one of its most loyal members, the Daily Telegraph. The antiwar group ANSWER has been directly financed by the Iraqi regime since its formation, in the form of "legal fees" paid by Baghdad to ANSWER's leading spokesman and organizer, former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark.
The so-called Honourable Member for Glasgow Kelvin emerged last night as the paid mouthpiece for one of the most despicable regimes of torture and mass murder in modern times.

For future reference, here's a link from June of 2000 to an organization called MiddleEastUK.com. It has an article that mentions Galloway, Scott Ritter, and another guy we may hear more about in the future: a left-wing MP named Tam Dalyell.

It referred to contacts with Farid Handhal, a Briton of Iraqi origin. Mr Mohammed met Mr Handhal in London on Dec 22, 1997. Mr Handhal had claimed that both Robin Cook, then Foreign Secretary, and Sir John Kerr, then Foreign Office permanent secretary, supported "establishing new relations with Iraq".
Pre-911, it's forgiveable (I'm sure there are going to be lots of gems in the US files, too). Post-911, anyone who is still supporting terrorist states is an enemy.
