That's the thing about John Walsh. He's "pro-cop," which, to liberals means he's anti-crime, avant-garde, and a firebrand out there to protect peoples' liberty and rights, so that the rest of them don't have to get their hands dirty. To me, however, he's blindly pro-cop, and there are some bad cops and bad cop policies out there. He only gives lip service to being anti-crime and for the second amendment. It's like those people who wear little red ribbons and pat themselves on the back for "doing something for AIDS." He's all show. Absolutely not to be trusted. He's in it for John Walsh.

As for SAS, I hate to sound so overly critical, but I agree with the post above. Sending out this press release is interesting I suppose, but the real test was "hey! what are you doing over there with the glass of water!" or "Mr. Walsh, What gives? Would you care to explain yourself?" on the stage. If it resulted in "you're never appearing on our show again!" -- so what?

That describes O'Reilly too, heh.. :-) As does "pompous windbag" (the official B.O. descriptor at my house)

You have to understand...it was not a "live" show. Things get cut, especially when you go 10 minutes over!

Why get shut down about her fake tears when there was so much more to tackle?
I'm interested in seeing what does make it on!

When you do a show like that, you have to think quick, and choose your battles. I don't expect to ever be on that show again, but I do expect to get the most out of my story about what went on during the taping. It's a fast decision about "how can this benefit SAS the most?"

Easy to criticize when you're not the one sweating under the lights, isn't it? Perhaps you should perform instead of try to inform after the fact, eh?

I respectfully disagree. Had this occurred the editors would have cut the tape to portray the SAS members as out of control, unreasonable, etc...

Now, with them not reacting, there is a controversy that will expose not only Walsh, but the typical tactics of the anti-gun crowd, i.e. lying, false statistics, etc...

The ladies did very well, it is now up to the rest of us to give the story legs.
