Frist About to Fold Again

Frist is about to go TU again. Watching Mr. Leahy now saying that they are about to strike a deal to bypass Estrada and Owens to get a Hispanic on the court. My Heros.

Yesterday was regular order. The Dems tried to hold up regular order yesterday to vote on a Hispanic, just so they could say they did.

"Any conservative we can get through is great."

I agree with Rush. President Bush should use his recess appointment power to place Judge BORK in a position. Especially a location where a critical piece or litigation is about to hit.

Wouldn't that get their collective panties in a bunch.

I don't care if they can claim they voted for a Hispanic. He is a conservative and that is all that matters. 2 CONSERVATIVE NOMINEES APPROVED IN ONE WEEK IN INCREDIBLE!!!

I miss Alan Simpson.

Funny man. He once said of Sam Donaldson that "he was a self-made man, thus saving God from an awesome responsibility."

Frist is operating at a distinct disadvantage, though. He is a gentleman.

Nice guys finish last and everything below win is last. Frist strikes me as somebody capable of playing hardball though I haven't seen it yet.

I think you are forgetting about the two conservative nominees that are being held up by a minority of the senate.

OFFICIAL BILL FRIST A$$-KISSER BUMP LIST.

If you got this ping, it's because you're one of the people who was falling all over himself a few months ago to smooch the good doctor's behind when he was crowned majority leader. "How DARE you criticize Frist!"

As I told you then, Bill Frist is not a principled conservative, and before you know it "he'll have you longing for the days of Bob Dole."

I think you're confused.

I, for one, was against Lott's resignation, as I saw things like the Santorum thing happening as a result.

And, I've never been a particular fan of Frist.

Perhaps you should review your list.

I went back and found my post in that thread. In fact, I had posted an implication that Frist and Rove had conspired to take down Lott. Perhaps you misread that as an endorsement of Frist, somehow...

Frist is looking about as bad as Trent Lott.

Why am I not surprised?

We don't need a gentleman.  We need Newt Gingrich.

This is to get the hispanic issue off the table because shumer and the bitch wanted this guy on the bench for some reason. This has nothing to do with the guy being conservative at all.AND YES HE IS CAVING TO THESE BASTARDS.

Bold of you to being doing French on FR. Thought that was what I was voting for. I guess Bush and company qualify. What do we do about Frist?

I know social conservatives hate Newt, but Atwater's dead, isn't he?

if Prado was nominated by Reagan he probably is conservative. The Dems have got their foot so much in their mouth with Estrada that they almost need to get Prado through. We'll take him. And we're coming back for Estrada!
