The Bible tells us that the Babylonians built a pyramind type stucture...God confused the language and people dispersed across the earth. Could be the dispersed people used the pyramid architecture as a base in designing their own.

Dr Robert Schoch has a new book on the subject titled, Voyages Of The Pyramid Builders.
He thinks all the worlds pyramid builders originated from the Sunda Shelf and took flight as it went underwater at the end of the last Ice Age.

The research demonstrating that the Pyramids of Egypt, Maya and Ankor Wat constructions all matching up with Orion star configurations and time tables
seems rather well done and unassailable . . . as well as hard to explain in conventional terms.
