Governor George E. Pataki To Become a Mason
NY Masons ^ | 5/5/03

Posted on 05/05/2003 1:44:26 PM PDT by areafiftyone

I have the distinct pleasure to announce that our Governor, the Honorable George E. Pataki, has accepted my offer to join our fraternity and become a Master Mason.

On the cover of the next issue of the EMPIRE STATE MASON will feature him accepting my invitation at our meeting on June 6, 2002. Pictured also will be Brother Kurt Ott, Convention Chairman and Brother William Hetzler, both members of Schiller Lodge in the 9th Manhattan District. Brother William Hetzler is also the Assistant to the Governor for German Affairs and it was through his effort that the meeting was arranged and the Governor agreed to be a member of our beloved fraternity.

Governor Pataki has displayed the kind of leadership and quality in a man that our organization looks for. That leadership was most evident on September 11, 2001 when he was instrumental in helping to restore calm and committing the total resources of New York State to New York city. He activated the New York State National Guard to provide security for our airports, bridges, tunnels and waterways. My daughter Danielle and I personally met with him in New York City with families of the rescue workers who were missing at the time. Everyone commented favorably on the Governor’s leadership and support during the World Trade Center disaster.

As soon as I have received the date from the Governor I will exercise one of the prerogatives of a Grand Master, and make Governor George E. Pataki a “Mason at Sight,” in accordance with Section 216 of our Masonic Law. I will be sending a special announcement to all lodges and expect maximum attendance to witness this historic event, the likes of which has not taken place in the last 133 years in New York. After his initiation there will be a public ceremony at Grand Lodge, to which the press will be invited, to announce that the Governor has been made a Mason.

Sincerely,

M.·. W.·. Carl J. Fitje
Grand Master

Masonry is incompatible with Christianity. Traced to its roots, it is satanic.

So Washington, Franklin, and most of the Founding Fathers were "satanic?"

Not the DeMolay deserved it, right, since he was found guilty of sodomy and blasphemy?

Illuminati were founded on May 1, 1776. Coincidentally, the high holy day of Communism.

Question for you - who do you think provided the funding for Marx to make his doodlings?

It takes a tremendous amount of gall for you to tell anybody they don't have a clue. Pull your head out into the sunshine.

No, no, it's -- it's just that we wanted a block of flats and not an abattoir.

It doesn't take gall: just a little knowledge. Most of the posters in this thread truly don't have a clue, and don't seem to even be aware of how foolish they sound. There are literally millions of Freemasons around the world, and no doubt, scores within their circle of acquaintances. Any of who will be glad to talk with them about Freemasonry. There is actually very little that cannot be told to non-masons. But their preferred source of information seems to be the lunatic rantings of whack job conspiracy enthusiasts mumbling about satanic rituals and such.

My source of knowledge on freemasonry is from their own gurus. I have a great collection of books written by masons.

You've been hoodwinked.

I'm sure your collection of reference texts includes "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" and "The Turner Diaries" as well. You sound well versed in such idiocy.

I don't know if they were written by masons or not, nor do I care. The point is I can tell the difference between reality and hateful, fantasy trash. You apparently cannot.

Any way I think it's time to move on, though this exchange has been scintillating. I fondly recall an eccentric old neighbor from my youth who loved to talk in metaphors. In speaking of ignorant people who endlessly haggle for the sake of dragging you into the gutter with them, he told me that arguing with fools is like wrestling with a pig in mud: after awhile you realize that the pig enjoy getting filthy. I think I met that pig tonight.

Look up "The League of Just Men".

You seem to be the naive type who believes things like the French Revolution "just happened", as did the revolutions of 1848 or our current periodic bouts with anarcho-communist radicals in riots in major cities. In this view, Marx "just wrote" a book full of nonsense which he "just happened" to get published and sent round the world. All sheer coincidence.

President George Washington did not believe such nonsense about "coincidences", and he was a Mason.

I don't reccomend to you the nonsense conspiracy theorists at all. I reccomend Prof. Carroll Quigley's (yes, the Toon's Prof) magnum opus "Tragedy and Hope: The World in Our Time". Excellent, excellent, excellent book. But read it for yourself, don't rely on reviews from the likes of the JBS or Protocols of Zion fans.

Your comments merit only wisecracks.

Translation: you know I'm right.

Or does your silly secret oath prevent you from telling the sordid truth that AxelPaulsen has accidentally let slip: that Masons sit around at the Lodge discussing the Razorbacks?

You said that in jest, right. Please tell me that you meant that tongue in cheek.

Because if not, I must say that you are one more stupid moron.

I thought I made it clear in my post to you earlier, but here again is my reason for stating that I believe that you are a moron.

Some one the site need an explanation.

Masons are basicly a Fraternity operating inthe local community. The basics here are Brotherly love, relief and truth. They help each other and contribute to the relief of the brothers, widows, and orphans. Some lodges participate in community events designed to aid various civic projects or issues. They quietly live their lives in an examplary fashion and will render what assistance they can to those less fortunate.

The Shrine of North America is an extension of that Fraternity who's purpose originally was to have fun. The rituals and regalia used is based around Ali Babba in the Arabian Nights. The dress (Fez and robes) are just an Arabic Theme with no religious conection what-so-ever. As their parties and gatherings grew successful and money was earned they first gave to the relief of many American disasters, from Yellow Fever Outbreaks, to the Johnstown Flood.

The Hospital System came into being in 1922 and have become the chief mission of the Shrine. There is no sinister purpose other than having fun and raising funds for the Hospitals. No matter what else is said here that is what it all about.

The Anti- Masons here would have you believe that we are against God and religon but thatis far from the TRUTH. Masonry encourages each to practice their own religion in their own way and be tolerant of others. Just when you start to agree that Masons may not be that bad after all, they then hit you with the bull that only the Elite Masons know of the deep secrets and how we run the Organization.

What good would it do to have a membership of over 6 million Masons who haven't a clue as to what they stand for? How could they "Rule the World" if they don't know what is expected of them?

Most of them will also state they know someone who knows somebody who read something about Masonry. THEY DON"T HAVE A CLUE.

Mason Bashing has gone on for some time. Everyone can cite an indivual who may have acted in a manner not consistant with the values imposed by good civil obediance. The main thing to ask yourself is why did so many great men join Masonry throughout the years. Many of them were founding fathers of this country. Many were statesmen, inventors composers, military, Clergy, etc., or simply just plain everyday God fearing men who lead normal family lives.

Men I am proud to call Brother.

Excellent post sir, and you brilliantly point out the main fallacy of the world domination bullsh*t people.

Isn't that just always the case.......?

The others are right, you truly don't have a clue of what you are talking about. Masonic grandfather or not, or whatever.
