Sen. Graham: "intelligence community's responsibility..not the president.."[re. 911]

GRAHAM: Yes, I think, Mike, you put your finger on it. It is the job of the intelligence community to have creativity and imagination so they can look at a series of events and try to see a pattern from those events. But it is the intelligence community's responsibility, in my judgment, not the president of the United States. He's not expected to be a trained analyst and case officer. If there was someone who should have been taking the information from that August briefing paper, which is one of the most closely-held documents in Washington, as I say, I know I haven't seen it, I don't think Senator Shelby has seen it...
WALLACE: How come?
GRAHAM: Because it is only for the president's eyes and absolutely those who are absolutely the closest to the president. But if there were to have been a reaction to it and recommendations as to what to do, those would normally have come from the intelligence community itself.

Thank you for posting all of these stories about Senator Graham's statements, which are much at odds with his comments yesterday.
He is taking advantage of his position on the Intelligence Committee to attack the president. Not only is he a poorly spoken nut-case, but under the surface he is as ruthless and conniving as all other democrats.

Seem as if Senator Graham forgot to write down in one of his little notebooks that he made these opposite remarks in the other articles. Bad, Bad Senator!
Prairie--how fast can you say "partisan political agenda"?

Thank you for posting this, RtCg.

Graham is trying to create some buzz about his candidacy. For him to intimate that he has the "goods" on President Bush just to get some attention is pretty despicable. The guy is an odd duck, counting his socks, recording his thoughts about the neighbor lady's ventures outside to trim her hedges, arranging his nerd candy neatly in a dish....

Graham's voting record will speak more loudly than his words.

Very series. (^:
Perhaps Sen. Graham misplaced his daily diaries from those days when he wasn't blaming President Bush for 911.
He thought we wouldn't remember? We jot these series facts down - at FR, our daily diary.

I either read or heard this morning that he has LOTS of support in Florida. I think I heard it on FN. I hope his contradictions can be brought into the light for people to see.

Hah, you are fast. Freepers are the best!
Welcome to the new political scene, Sen. Graham. The left doesn't have full ownership of the soapbox or the info anymore.
Perhaps the Dems. will finally come to understand why they lost 2000 and 2002 in Florida - that we were able to bypass the state's left-wing newsmedia and go straight to our neighbors. When AP lies, it motivates - US.

LOL! His memory is worse than mine. (^;
If Graham lived in NY, I'd leave this alone (Edwards is the slimiest Rat)...but Floridians fight Dems. We're primed and ready at all times....a side-effect of the 2000 and 2002 elections.
You listening yet, Terry?

I can't wait until one of these overstuffed leaders of the "left" gets the nomination, especially a "Senator" and we can demand they step down from their Senate seat like Bob Dole did when he ran for President.
So who is the GRAHAM BASE?
"Richie Rich" has the UNIONS
Lying Lieberman has Hollywood
Suing Edwards has the Lawyers
JFKerry has the elite liberals and (sweetie's money pot if anyone looks at me dirty)
SUV driving Dean has the "dirt worshipers" and socialized medical corp
Passing the plate Rev. Al, got the liberal religious community ++++ civil rights money bags.
Carol Mosely Braun fighting for the "good" Rev's money.
Dennis lay down our arms, who know who sends him money.
Graham isn't known well enough around the country to have a group following so who is bankrolling him?
To: Just mythoughts
I believe he is the brother-in-law of the late Katherine Graham of
The Washington Post. Apparently that is enough of a constituency.
He also was a popular Florida governor, so there is some support for him in Florida.
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
Thanks for posting the link to Graham's story about blaming clinton for 9/11. I sent the article to Graham - in case he forgot what he said in the past!! And, sent it on to the Orlando Sentinel. "maybe" (Ha) they will reconsider before they endorse him............and pigs will fly.

Oh really, so it will be the editorial staff and media.
So we go back to the Hillary words "When did he know and What did he know", being planted by "intelligence".
