Nobody said that skilled/hard working labor can't come from immigrants, illegal or otherwise, but if you spoke to a contractor that admits to hiring illegals and says they are paid the same as non-illegals, then you are the one buying the urban legends.

Plus, no one believes it was the government that put all the Patells in the convenience stores ... the government put them all in IT ...

My comments were about Hispanics not illegals.That is where the problem comes, folks always see all hispanics as illegals.They are not working without documentation.It may not be authentic and they may be paid through a subcontractor but no employer will risk the fines by knowingly hiring a illegal.

The point still remains wage rates have not been driven down.If you think the government is helping foriegners get businesses that natives can't get please name the program or just admit to predjudice on the subject.
