No you are talking out of your butt. It was said by Nancy Grace and agreed with by Chris Pixley (Defense Attorney). A convicted murdered May NOT profit from the sale of anything. He will no longer have any property rights.

Yes I know he is her sole heir! But he cannot do anything with her estate until the trial is over and if he is found not guilty.

This is not true. In California, a convicted murderer may not inherit anything from his victim.

I think there's a statute in CA that prevents a person convicted of murdering someone from inheriting from the deceased.
