A horse walks into a bar. The bartender comes up and says "Hey pal, what will it be?"

The horse orders a beer.

A few minutes later, John Kerry walks in and sits at the bar. The bartender walks up and says "Hey pal, cheer up. Why the long face?"

I'll stop if you guys will donate and get us over our fundraising goal

Keep the percentage of female athletes more or less the same as the percentage of female students

This is ok as long as it exempts football. Now, you have 100 guys on the football team and then you have to find a 100 girls to play some sport, any sport, maybe even sausage races. The alternative to have 100 girls in sausage races is to cut 100 men out of non revenue sports like golf, wrestling, etc.

I think the Bush administration is becoming predictable in it's affirmation and, indeed, advancement of liberal programs.

Anything for a vote.

You don't understand: It is all "stratery." Think of the female college athlete voting block! (End sarcasm)

But tries to please everyone: Men's programs shouldn't be cut; like there is an endless supply of money.

We need a primary opponent who is unafraid t stand on principle.

Check this out, the same basic information but a different take on the exact same subject,

So who does one believe? The NY Times or Washington Times. I sure don't lean to the NY version.

How bout this for an idea... keep female college admissions down to the same percentage of females in the general pop.

George W. Bush is either one of the biggest cowards ever to sit in the oval office or he's a closet liberal.

This is just another example of his "conservatism">

Another bad decision.

The victim here is 'smaller' men's sports. Instead of expanding women's sports, they cut sports like wrestling, crew, rowing, and track.

If football was exempted, I'd have less of a problem.
