SUV owners are fighting back at such anti-choice intolerance as the "What Would Jesus Drive?" campaign.
Sport Utility Vehicle Owners of America is running an ad in regional editions of USA Today that asks, "What Does Jesús (Rivera) Drive?"
The ad is meant to build the group's membership and promote its Web site, www.suvoa.com, which offers facts and figures in support of SUV ownership.
The ad features a middle-aged man, Jesús Rivera, grinning as he leans against an SUV. Those who are sick of anti-SUV rhetoric from hypocritical SUV users such as Sen. John Kerry and long-ago movie star Chevy Chase, and mansion dwellers such as dizzy starlet Cameron Diaz and Arianna Huffington, can have a good laugh.
"SUV owners are sick of being demonized," Jason H. Vines, the president of the owners' group, told the New York Times. "We want SUV drivers to have access to statistics so that when people yell at them for driving SUVs, they can tell them their vehicles have lower tailpipe emissions than their small cars."
Because of the dangerous intolerance displayed by anti-choice leftists, he would not give out any information about Rivera. Vines noted that "people who are against SUVs would love to know where he lives."

I would like to think that Jesus would probably be riding in a govt supplied vehicle with a driver.

Nope. It's Moses, son of Jocheved, of Egypt and later of the Sinai Desert! Apparently, though, they share an affinity for tailfins!
To: governsleastgovernsbest
I've been to the Sinai Desert and I don't recall seeing many tailfins.....

What Would Jesus Drive?Carpenters drive Old Ford pickem'ups!
To: Feckless
Well, Moses kept his tailfin Caddy in the garage during the week, and brought it out only for late Saturday night drives (being careful to avoid driving on the Sabbath).
During most of the week, he drove a Hummer.

Jesus was a self-employed carpenter. He would drive a BIG truck.
To: I still care
Jesus was a self-employed carpenter. He would drive a BIG truck. Well, he traveled with 12 other guys, mostly fishermen, and you know how much gear they need.
Jesus would drive a team bus.

Oh no. Here, maybe, but not in the Middle East communities of Bethlehem or Nazareth where He once made his home. The *team bus* is not at all the vehicle of choice there.
