Now, now ... a .22 mag revolver IS a good ladies' gun. I often carry one in my boot, daytimer, or hip pocket. It's considerably smaller than my "main" carry gun, but I like it, just the same. Of course, I also like my little P32, my Makarovs, my Rugers, my ... ;o)

Good for you, by the way! I'm also an NRA instructor and work with about ... hm ... 20 other instructors locally. We start with .22s, both SA and SA/DA, as well. I've taught women who had been so terrified of handling firearms (by those boyfriends you mention) that we started with air pistols.

Mostly I just wanted to tell you that I don't know you, but I'm right proud of ya.
