Accused Kitten Killer Could Face Deportation
Investigators Say Man Shows No Remorse

A citizen of El Salvador living in Michigan could face deportation if convicted of felony charges of torturing and killing an animal, Local 4 reported.
Carlos Eduardo Valladares-Guillen, 24, of Wixom, was arraigned Friday on charges that he threw the family kitten out the window of his car.
The man was reportedly driving on Interstate 275 Thursday with his wife and 5-month-old daughter when witnesses said Valladares-Guillen rolled down the car window and threw out something small and furry, according to police.
"I observed that it was something full of fur. Then when it hit the ground and I saw it roll ... and it was moving and in a lot of pain. I realized it was a baby kitten," said Francisco Solano, who witnessed the incident.
Solano immediately contacted police to report the man's license plate number, Local 4 reported.
When Livonia police arrived at the scene they found a 3-month-old kitten dead on the side of the highway, Local 4 reported.
After taking pictures of the kitten for evidence, police tracked the license plate number to the man's home in Wixom. Investigators said Valladares-Guillen eventually confessed to the crime.
Valladares-Guillen plead not guilty to the felony charges in court Friday. His attorney, Sean Daigle, told Local 4 his client is not the monster the public has made him out to be.
"I just think that people should give him a chance instead of just going crazy," Daigle said. "This is just an arraignment today. We haven't heard the evidence and I think we should let that play out before they call for a hanging."
Friends and family members of Valladares-Guillen said he's a good guy who is confused about all the attention he's getting, Local 4 reported.
Detectives say Valladares-Guillen has shown no remorse for his alleged actions. "The investigator said (the man's) only remorse was that he got caught, but he really didn't have any remorse for what occurred," said Lt. Ben McDermott of the Livonia Police Department.
Valladares-Guillen has been living and working in Wixom for 5 years. He was released Friday on a $5,000 bond.
If convicted of the felony charges, he could face up to 4 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. He will also likely be deported back to El Salvador, Local 4 reported.
Good. These penalties are the least that should happen to the monster.
He's clearly a psycho who should be locked up but one wonders where you draw the line. Lots of nasty people drown kittens because they don't want to look after them. Should these people be jailed also...?
"I observed that it was something full of fur. Then when it hit the ground and I saw it roll ... and it was moving and in a lot of pain. I realized it was a baby kitten," said Francisco Solano, who witnessed the incident.
Confused? What's to be confused about? This despicable moron should be treated the same way as he treated the kitten.
(EFE) - Mexico plans to clear up U.S. State Department concerns regarding the identification document its consular offices are issuing Mexicans abroad, said a Cabinet official.
Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez made the announcement during a press conference at the conclusion of a seminar The Economist magazine sponsors each year in the Mexican capital.
"I'm going to talk to the State Department to see what they think - what they consider should be done - and see what doubts they have concerning our documents with regard to forgery, etc." Derbez said.
The FBI and the U.S. Homeland Security Department both concluded at the end of June that the Mexican consular ID "was not reliable" and could pose a risk to U.S. internal security.
The foreign minister said Mexico is willing to improve the document to provide the United States and Mexican nationals living there greater security.
"We're willing to improve the quality of the document if that gives everybody greater security. If we can improve the document, we will," Derbez emphasized.
Nevertheless, the official said that "the quality of the new ID meets the requirements established by all (U.S.) driver license or social security offices."
Note the ones used now are already accepted Mexican consulates in any case will continue issuing the consular IDs especially to illegal immigrants because, "that's a right established by the Vienna Convention and international legislation governing this issue," he stated.

He noted that the new consular IDs replace the old documents and are more difficult to forge.
According to official estimates, at present there are some 25 million people of Mexican origin living in the United States.
Roughly nine million of these people were born in Mexico, and approximately four million of them are undocumented immigrants.
Conservative blocs in the U.S. Congress oppose the use of the consular documents as IDs, however. Derbez maintains that a ban on the use of Mexican consular IDs in the United States would "infringe upon norms established by the Vienna Convention regarding consular relations."
"We're open to continuing the necessary cooperation in order for the consular document to comply with the necessary requirements for domestic security - ours as well as that of the United States - but within our Vienna Convention rights," he insisted.
Last year, Mexico issued 1.04 million consular IDs, which are accepted by more than 800 U.S. towns and police departments and at least 122 banks and financial institutions. EFE
According to Tancredo Fan, they ought to be executed.
You can take the immigrant out of the turd-world, but you can take the turd out of the immigrant.
They used up their flame gun on me earlier ;)
It's that "nation of animal lovers" thing...
I remember when the IRA murdered a whole bunch of people in a mainland nail-bombing attack on Britain. People were more upset about the horse Sefton who was injured.
According to Tanc, I should be too!
More importantly ... how did he get the care regsitered and inspected ?
There again, Jeffrey Dahmer started off on cats.
It's quite shocking that he apparently did this in front of the child. Surely he could have just pulled the car over and let the moggy out if he didn't want it.
