[history]
The long-maned musician was apparently miffed after the attendant, who didn't recognize the aging rocker, demanded to see a parking pass for the V.I.P lot outside the theater, said Maj. Richard O'Donnell of the New York State Park Police.
O'Donnell said McBrain arrived at Jones Beach around 8:30 p.m. for the group's concert, and was stopped as he entered the exclusive parking area.

Bollocks! I never touched the bloke!

As much as I like Iron Maiden, I think Nicko should have been thrown in jail for assault and battery, or whatever charges would apply to a non celebrity.

McBrain - "Do you know who I am...?"
Attendant - "No, Sir."
McBrain - "Perhaps this will jog your memory."

Oh, yeah, they were immortalized in last year's song, "I'm just a teenage dirtbag". You missed it?

Lizzie Grubman taught Nicko how to drive.

Looks like the McDillweed just rammed himself into a $1 million lawsuit. He'll be served papers right after his conviction for vehicular assault.
To: Kevin Curry
Keith Moon would have rammed the guy into the nearest swimming pool. Mind you, he'd be driving a Rolls, not a Jag.

Oh, yeah. Mr. Moderation himself. Thankfully he offed himself before he could kill anybody with his excesses.
To: Kevin Curry
The irony of Moon's death was that he accidentally overdosed on pills he was taking to cure his alcoholism.

I saw that headline and thought it was going to be about Rick Allen from Def Leppard.

McBrain - "Do you know who I am...?" Attendant - "No, Sir."
Let me guess, this was the same attendent who used to work security at the airport:
Clinton OK After Airport Incident (note the nice headline for a different hit and run event)

They've been making top-selling records for 23 years.
Their Brave New World tour (2000 I think) stop at Madison Square Garden sold out in 15 minutes.
In the world of rock, particularly metal, they are legendary.

Oh, yeah, they were immortalized in last year's songBite your tongue, Maiden has been around since the early 80s. Rime of the Ancient Mariner is one of the most beautiful ballads I ever heard growing up. A lot of their music is either historically or literary based unlike a majority of the metal bands out there

The man refused to budge, and McBrain surged the car forward again, nailing him and causing the man to fall forward on the car's hood.
His victim suffered minor injuries to his legs and right hand."Me Legs!" exclaimed the attendant. "Who will look out for me little ones?"
Not that I'm wishing I could practice in New York right now...
