Let BRAVO Know What You THINK About Their Homosexual Agenda!
07/29/03 | Kieri

Posted on 07/29/2003 6:25:52 AM PDT by Kieri

This morning I decided to let BRAVO have an earful. Here is my email:

"As a DirecTV subscriber, I am notifying you I am permanently blocking BRAVO from my menu on my DSS receiver.

Your push for homosexual-'friendly' programming demonstrates your pandering to an audience that exhibits behavior that is not only detrimental to their own health, but the health and safety of families everywhere. I refuse to risk allowing my children to see promo material on your channel, so I find it necessary to block BRAVO and will encourage others to do so. Your advertisers will no longer reach me or my family members, and I have let DirecTV know of our all too easy decision to block BRAVO.

You may consider a homosexual audience on worthy of pursuit, but families who treasure their own lifestyles think otherwise."

I encourage others to let both BRAVO and their cable/DSS companies know that you're blocking their agenda-pushing programming!

BRAVO's "Contact Us" page is here:

Please. I know some here refuse to accept it, but being gay has a biological basis. No one chooses to be gay.

Even the sodomites admit it's a lifestyle "choice".
Please explain it's biological origin. Where is the defective gene located?

The conservatives who find this gay crap entertaining are country club conservatives. You know, the types who fold at the first sign of controversy; thereby, revealing their gelatinous spine. Unforunately, FR has more now than ever before.

God forbid the 'homo agenda' has an episode helping a ex-Navy Seal cadet propose to his wife. Guess a man able to be a Navy Seal is just not man enough to take direction from homosexuals.

John has a vast and varied background. He is currently a part time contractor and car transport driver, but at various times has also been a plumber, an elevator technician, a fireman, a carpenter, a short order cook, an EMT, a Navy Seal cadet and a stripper. While he has learned a lot in those various occupations, he has a bit of catching up to do in the fields of style and design. A true cowboy who fancies his jeans and big black hat, John is ready to make some major changes including asking Tina, his New York City girlfriend of two years, to become his wife. The Fab Five's mission: give this handsome farm boy a more sophisticated style so he can engineer a romantic, sophisticated, quintessential New York wedding proposal.

another.....

Adam is a successful Long Island entrepreneur who runs his own computer business. He's married with three lovely children, has a lot of friends and is a very nice guy…but his house is a disaster, his wardrobe is out of date and he has a bad habit of forgetting his wife's birthday. The Fab Five's mission: improve his look, bring order and style to his home, teach him how to be a gracious host and to throw a great party.

and another....

Tom is a guy who has grown older but forgot to grow up. His apartment could be charitably described as "frat house chic" — pizza boxes under the couch, beer in the fridge and dishes piled high in the sink. His wardrobe consists mostly of old t-shirts, '80s-style jeans and a menacing pair of boots. The Fab Five's mission: help Tom convince his girlfriend Lisa to move in with him by cleaning up his look, diversifying his wardrobe, completely redecorating his apartment and teaching him how to prepare a romantic dinner.

"Notice how they never show the gay guy that's fat, hairy, disease riddled, and toothless on TV"

Don't see too many straight folks meeting that description on TV either, it seems to me.

>>>>"The Creationists maybe?"<<<<<

No, the Bible clearly states in several places the earth is round. It even talks of the land dividing in Genesis to make the continents like most scholars believe.

Read it, don't let pagans tell you what they think it says.

Many in America didn't see Hitler as a threat until it was too late.
AIDs news isn't even discussed on liberal TV. It's gone up 7.1% among homosexual men over the past year. But, death by AIDs is acceptable in todays society. People have been programmend to see it as an honorable way to die. Go figure.
People are seriously falling for gay propaganda. Who'd a thunk America could ever be so blind? How many more will die? How many kids are enrolling into the hall of homosexual fame?
It's so sad. America is getting really stupid.

Notice how they never show the gay guy that's fat, hairy, disease riddled, and toothless on TV. It's bad for mental images. It's bad "mental programming". Gays have to look better, smarter, richer, etc. so the lifestyle lures people tward it, or tward acceptace of it.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Look at the pictures of those guys above. They look ridiculous. If anything, the show perpetuates the gay stereotype. There is nothing alluring about their image.

On a sidenote, I would just like to say, if we followed your suggestion for lesbians (fat, hairy . . . as many are apt to be), that would really ruin my fantasy life! Personally, I am delighted with the illusion that all lesbians are hot supermodels.

Gents:
Despite all your bluster about a "Biological Basis", "No amount of money would make me do another guy", and "I don't care if every teacher told me for 10 years...you must lust after Brad Pitt, it wouldn't have worked"

Studies show that boys who are molested by men later become men who molest boys. That is not "Biological". Shows like this, and opinions like yours, create a friendly environment where these people can operate. After all, we can't raise any questions about the gay troop leader; we wouldn't wan't to be Un-PC or have people suggest we are "insecure"!

So stop bragging about what sex-machines you are, and think about someone besides yourself, for once in your life!

CASE CLOSED

"Funny that some conservatives find this stuff entertaining."

Are they really conservatives or CINOs? Why anyone would be curious about a gay show is beyond me.

I am curious. If they find a cure for AIDS, will homosexuality be ok for you? AIDS wasn't around in the 60's, 70's, so was it ok then?

AIDS is a nasty disease, that is spread most often through homosexual promiscuity. I am not questioning that fact.

I think it is a bit of a red herring to use it as the basis for your argument though, since in the grand arch of human history, it really hasn't been around that long.

Assume a world where sexually transmitted diseases are eliminated. What do you base your argument on then? If you were telling somebody in 1979, that being gay was wrong, what argument would you have used?

Should have told NBC (the parent company) that you were blocking them altogether (NBC, MSNBC, etc.).

NBC ran an ad that they would be airing "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" as well.

The culture war is being shoved down our throats and into our living rooms.

Excuse me, but it could be scripted. It makes it appear more believable, and the gays look real good. How do you know they aren't just pro-gay actors, like other reality shows? After show interviews of other reality shows prove the people involved are into "acting" , and would like a futire in Hollywood.
Do you really believe the show is real?
Hello. TV isn't real! It's entertainment and in this case propaganda in favor of gays.
Watch FOX news. Come back to the real world.

Why you would want to pander to a minority of the population, while repelling a majority of the population is puzzling.

I can see programming targeted to draw asian demographics, hispanic viewers, etc. but this is an effort to appeal to practioners of sexual kinks.

What's next? S&M dating shows? Crossdressers? Polyamorous encounters (group sex)?

Jerry Springer and some of the dating shows are leaning here (the networks have been hesitant to join in the orgy though).

Right now the networks are loading down with "reality" programming. Even HBO has shown full frontal shots of shemales bathing each other on some "documentary" programming.

"I find it funny and entertaining. Im (sic) not threated by them nor do I have any reason to be threatened by them. "

Ah, no kids yet eh? There is one universal truth in life imo. Until you have children, you don't really know anything about life. Flame away!

TV shows and ads have been giving this same impression of dads/father figures for over a decade. The dad is the dumbest cast member, easy to fool, easy to make mistakes. The housewife is smarter and can fix anything the husband louses up. But she should not feel confident, the teenager (or tween even) is smarter than all of them.

Nope. Another plague would take it's place. "You don't mess with Mother Nature."
Anyway, it mutates. There never will be a cure.
The '60's and 70's was the birth of death and dismay, the birth of liberal lifestyles, and the misery that goes with it. Where you find liberal lifestyles, some type death follows them.

Assume a world where sexually transmitted diseases are eliminated.

You mean pretend I'm watching gay TV?

"Not so long ago the opinion was that the world was flat."

My, aren't you the enlightened one?

You should fly over to Germany and attend one of those street carnivals where drunken tri-sexuals are openly humping anything that moves...

That your idea of a "round earth"?

Just because Susan Sarandon (champion of free speech) successfully lobbied to keep Dr. Laura from getting her tv show on the air, don't think that the "just turn the dial" prohomosexual advocates will remember that incident.
