I listened to the original news reports live on 9/11 and they never reported that the plane was shot down. There certainly was a lot of confusion those first few hours. The plane was not shot down. The passengers may or may not have entered the cockpit, but their attempt to take back the plane undoubtedly resulted in the plane crashing into an empty field instead of a significant target as was planned.

newbie, you are not really worth talking to. There are so many news accounts of flight 93 being shot down. Why don't you do a google search or better yet a FR search. Have you even heard of WND ? Here is a link:
