I never belived the american 'lets roll' hero story and I still don't. I think its more likely we shot it down, or the scenario described in this article.

My major problem with this theory is that our government appeared so woefully unprepared that day, I think they would have shouted it from the rooftops if they actually managed to take action in a way that saved lives.

The potential complaining from people about the lives lost on the plane would have easily been counteracted by the scenes of destruction at the WTC and the Pentagon.

We didn’t shoot anything down that day. Though we should have.

I take it that those on the plane who made cell phone calls and stated the plan to rush the cockpit were in on the conspiracy?

Yeah. The story is a crock. Because it would have been easy for the government or whoever to telephone all those friends, family members, telephone operators, pretending to be people aboard the flight, describing the scene, talking about the uprising, saying "let's roll" and so forth, even as fighter interceptors were shooting flight 93 out of the sky. It would be nothing to plan and coordinate such a fraud.

And you think the woman who worked at the airlines and told that to investigators----that that's what she heard Beamer say, and it so happened that that was Beamer's typical saying when the family was about to set off on an outing---that was all concocted?

How sad for you that you can't see the plain and simple truth.

Why would that woman lie? She would not. She told too much of her conversation with Beamer that verifies how he was--and she told it before she ever spoke with Beamer's wife.

There are a number of loose ends in the hijackings: Did at least one hijacker have a gun? Did the flight 93 hijackers have a small bomb, on the scale of the shoe-bomb? Etc.

Based on phone calls from the plane it is clear the passengers fought the hijackers. But it also looks like the outcome was "simplified" for public consumption.

"I never belived the american 'lets roll' hero story and I still don't. I think its more likely we shot it down, or the scenario described in this article."

It isn't MORE likely we shot it down. In fact it's almost not likely at all. There isn't a shred of evidence anywhere to bolster your theory. In fact, the evidence ruins your theory. Both F-16's available near Chicago were unarmed and in a practice training.

Secondly, the story we know all fit together perfectly. The plane crashed shortly after Todd hung up, he hd just told the operator they were going to storm the cockpit, and he used a term, "Let's roll!", that fit him to a Tee.

Kind of sad that you have to fabricate a wild story in your attempt to take away the heroic actions of people who are far braver.

You really, really hate the thought of heroic Americans, don't you? You are much more comfortable with the sinister American Government.

Enjoy your walk through life on the cloudy side of the street.

The last audible words recorded from the cockpit was an "inexplicably calm voice in English instructing, 'Pull it up.'".

That pretty much confirms "lets roll"

As various people have explained ad nauseam, this goofball conspiracy theory is for people who think that "Occam's Razor" is the brand name of the box cutters used by the terrorists.
