Platform of the Communist Party USA

Communist Party Immediate Program for the Crisis

It is shameful and unacceptable that any child should live in poverty, and that anyone should go hungry, homeless, without medicine, or without a living wage in our nation of such great wealth.

Meet the Needs of Working, Unemployed and Farm Families
- Raise the minimum wage to $12 an hour.
-Unemployment insurance for all workers.
- Moratorium on farm foreclosures
- Labor law reform to remove barriers to workers who want to join a union.
- No privatization of Social Security. Increase benefits.
- Universal prescription drug coverage administered by Medicare. Universal health care system.
- Restore social safety net. Welfare reform that includes job training, supports and living wages.
- Full funding for equal, quality, bi-lingual public education. No vouchers.

Make Corporate Giants Pay
- Repeal tax cuts to the rich and corporations.
- Close corporate tax loopholes.
- Restitution to workers' pensions.
- Strong regulation of financial industry.
- Regulation and public ownership of utilities
- Prosecute corporate polluters. Public works program to clean our air, water and land
- Aid to cities and states. Federally funded infrastructure repair and social service programs

Foreign Policy for Peace and Justice
- No to war with Iraq - End military interventions
- Repeal Fast Track and NAFTA, stop Free Trade Area of the Americas(FTAA). No secrecy.
- Save Salt II Agreements, reject Star Wars and Nuclear Posture Review
-Abolish nuclear weapons
- End military interventions.
- Cut military budget and fund human needs.

Defend Democracy and Civil Rights
- End racial profiling.
- Repeal the death penalty.
- Enforce civil rights laws and affirmative action.
- Repeal USA Patriot Act.
- Legalization and protection of immigrant>rights.
- Public financing of elections. Overall election law reform including Instant Runoff Voting.
- Youth and student bill of rights. Guarantee youth's right to earn, learn and live.

Is any of the above different from what the vast majority of Democratic candidates are proposing? Has the Democratic party become the communist party?

Has the Democratic party become the communist party?

The Communist Party is actually the less radical of the two. I see nothing in the Communist platform demanding reparations for slavery or the confiscation of privately owned firearms.

True - another scary aspect of Marxism, is that they denounce "Individual Terrorism", but embrace "Group Terrorism" - they do this because Individual Terrorism does not gain the sympathy and support of the masses, whereas Group Terrorism does - a perfect example would be the part Hillary played in getting several FALN Terrorists pardoned during the waning days of the previous administration...

Marxism supports terrorism + Hillary is a Marxist = Hillary Supports Terrorism.

I like math ;0)

And you're good at it! : )

I think people severely underestimate the danger they pose. I'm no tin-foiler (far from it), but I really do believe that. The fact that they have an ally in the press does not help.

Try comparing the foreign policy of the GOP which wants to spread democracy to every nation to that of Trotsky or Lenin?

Have they BECOME the communist party? Hello? Where you been? ;0)

Anyone who really wants to assess where we are should read "Witness" by Whittaker Chambers. It explains in detail how the Communist termites have been weakening the strong foundations of America since at least the 1920s. What was radical and "underground" in the 20s and 30s has become standard Democrat policy and required "education" in our universities. It all started with Roosevelt.

WI really dont' know if that comparison would be valid - it would be valid if we were overthrowing democtratic governments, and installing Sandinista-style governments ;0)

[Democrats have been promoting and aiding the implementation of the Communist Manifesto for decades now]

More than that - Democrats helped ~write the communist manifesto:

[The Science of Government Founded on Natural Law
Clinton Roosevelt, 1841 Dean & Trevett, N.Y.

Few Americans realize that Clinton Roosevelt, an older cousin of Franklin D. Roosevelt wrote a book published in 1841 that contained most of the New Deal and the NRA (National Recovery Act).

It also contained most of the Communist Manifesto.

This was a few years ahead of Karl Marx.]

Or, they could merely pick up any book on 'Revolutionary Theory' in order to see how it will continue to play out.

"Revolution in the Revolution", by Regis DeBray should be required reading in order to cut through all the BS...

Well, tell me what you are asking, and I'll see if I can clarify what you are questioning.

But for the record, the Sandinista Government was a Marxist-Leninist government, which did not allow the people they "governed" the right to control their own destiny - what WE are doing, in spreading what you refer to as 'Democracy' is different - we are providing a mechanism for the people of other nations to control their own national destiny.

I compared the two, just like you asked, and determined there really was no comparison ;0)

No, it isn't safe. Under Marxism, which is Hillary's hidden political views, the military (if one exists) and the police are mere tools of official State control and oppression... shudder...

Hillary is also associted with, and supports the World Federalist Association .The group promotes “global citizenship” and also the International Criminal Court (ICC). They want a “World Disarmament Authority” to control the weapons of the world, nuclear and even small arms; The WFA also wants an independent “peacekeeping” army for the U.N. - in addition to all that, this Marxist Organization ALSO has stated that American sovereignty will be “gradually eroded until it is no longer an issue.”

The question was rhetorical, I assume. They've been the Communist party since AT LEAST George McGovern's run for prexy in 1972. (Full disclosure: I voted for that b*st*ard, on the simple grounds that a fool could/would be less damaging than an outright criminal (his opponent)).

Could have been rhetorical. But at least it gave me a chance to rant, and spread the truth about Hillary ;0)

No - they want to spread Constitutional Republicanism throughout the world. I'm not surprised in the least that you would be here defending the communists and denigrating the spread of our nation's founding ideals.
