I think they were saying that punch cards would disenfranchise minorities. No joke. Basically they were saying that minorities are too dumb to vote. Odd position from the ACLU, huh?

Why didn't they sue to delay the last election were Grey Davis won? We used punchcards then and no one complained.

It disenfranchises voters if they have to use the same kind of voting machine to recall davis that they used to elect him.

After hearing AS's speech today I predict 2 things:

The Terminator's poll #'s will go up atleast 15 points.

Gray Davis will step down.

There is one other federal case in San Jose due to be heard next week. I expect that one to be dismissed also.
