Stay calm... slow, deep breaths... it's okay, you just used an acronym I didn't know.

I'm just sorry this is all going to be over next week. This has been one hell of an sideshow, just like the 2000 presidential election and the OJ trial.

Shouldn't you be posting at moveon.org?

This is so much crap. "Statements of truth"?
Here's one: Tom McClintock is a carrear politician who has lost statewide TWICE, and who is more interested in himself then the future of his state or party.

I included that as a single item: "character".
Otherwise the list became unmanageably long.

I've been telling Schwarzeneger supporters this for a long time, but they're still not getting it. You will not recruit many McClintock supporters by selling Arnold as preferable to Satan, Mussolini, or Bustamante. Quit trying.
You'll start making inroads once you convince them that Arnold will advance specific items within the conservative agenda. The most persuasive thing Arnold did to attract conservative support so far was his Wall Street Jounal editorial about his views on taxes. His campaign needs more of that, and less demonizing Bustamante if you want to win ideological voters.
To: christynsoldier
You seem to be a humorless individual. (The humorless thing would be to deny that statement.)
Three of my positive reasons for voting for Schwarzenegger:
1. He's a Republican who's promised to campaign for Pres Bush, which would have a positive impact. As a pro-lifer, I care about that
2. He's a Republican who will campaign with great success for Republican senatorial and other candidates across the nation. As a pro-lifer and a conservative, I care a lot about that.
3. As he's shown by the think-tanks and advisors on whom he leans, and by his stated mentors Friedman and Reagan, he is a pro-business fiscal conservative who has a good chance of stemming the hemorrhaging of pro-family, pro-life conservatives fleeing this state. As a pro-life, pro-family, lifelong Californian and a conservative, I can a lot about that.

100% of my friends tell me I'm the funniest guy they
know, but are we on comedy central, or a discussion
board? and I wasn't wadding anything up so your little
quiry didn't even touch the funny bone.... and looking
back I can't see where it was supposed to...
sorry to see you couldn't name even three positive positions, but thanks for the 5 second effort anyway!

McClintock supporters: Please consider the period up to now the Primary. McClintock lost. If it were between Arnold and Cruz would your principals prevent you voting for Arnold?
Also, McClintock can't do anything about abortion as Gov. but Arnold as Gov. can help get McClintock elected as Senator where he CAN do something about abortion.
Or you can give us Cruz as Gov and Boxer as Senator.

The CA GOP is destroying itself by abandoning conservatives and embracing a movie star who is liberal on almost every key issue. There's nothing left for conservatives to embrace in the CA GOP. It's obvious they are not welcome in it anymore.
California is apparently a lost cause for conservatives.
