I agree with you. But let me make a related point that is not sports oriented but "affirmative action" on radio-- the same station in NYC that carries Rush. Is it any different that Monica Crowley, a blonde conservative, is given a talk show because it is politically correct to have a woman among all those conservative men??? Laura Ingraham has just come on board and she deserves her slot--she is smart and brings humor, insight and a unique perspective to talk radio as a conservative woman. On the other hand, you can't get anyone on air at WABC to admit that Monica is nothing more than a token female who is one big cliche. Pathetic.
