Christian Pastor Burnt Alive in Somalia
02 May 2004 | Brother Warsameh

Posted on 05/02/2004 7:32:06 PM PDT by Brother Warsameh

I received this e-mail today. It is indeed a sad one. BW

Dear Colleagues/friends It is with a deep and profound sorrow we announce the death of Pastor Shueb M.Madkher-The Director World In Need-Somalia. Pastor Shueb was killed and his boy burnt beyond recognition on 25th April 2004, by people believed to be Islamic militia group who come to learn he was spreading the Gospel among the Somalis at Dinsor town in Bakool District.

We shall update all his colleagues/friends as we continue getting more report on his death. We do not know exactly what happened and how he was tortured and executed.

We believe he was killed and burnt beyond recognition because of his religious belief and spreading the Gospel among his community.

We shall truly miss his love, counsel, humility, affection, generosity, his sheer hard work and discipline. He was a mentor and an inspiration to all of us here.

We shall still nurture and pass on the values he instilled on all who interacted with him.

MAY THE GOOD LORD REST HIS SOUL IN ETERNAL PEACE.

It is not the first time Somali Muslim militants martyred a Somali church leader. It was 1994 when pastor Liibaan Ibraahim Hassan was executed in Mogadishu in a broad daylight because of his faith in the risen Lord.

Liibaan Ibraahim Hassan was one of the finest church leaders the Somali church has ever produced. We still miss him and we will always miss him.

The Somali Christian community condemns this barbaric act in the strongest terms possible.

The Somali Christians are among the most persecuted Christians in the entire world. We covet your prayers.

The Phillipines, Kosovo, to add a few names to your list.
Mindanao, an island in the Phillipines, is a terrifying place to be if you are Christian or American.

It been posted here before, that Somali Christian are under a sentence of death, by the muslims militants. I have been praying for them.

In this life, we live in the Lord and in death we are alive in the Lord. Therefore I take comfort and courage, that the Lord reign over all the earth, even over death. Especially in these dark times.

May the Lord bless and multiply those Christians in Somali and send his angels to protect, each one of them. Thank you Jesus!

Just remember genocide is not nicer when done by self-described "Christians." Look at all the destroyed mosques in Bosnia and elsewhere and quit bellyaching.

And if you try really, really hard, you can fool yourself into thinking that RBJ doesn't laugh out loud at every report of a destroyed and desecrated Serbian Orthodox Christian Church.

But then reality will set in and you can almost hear his laughter.

Ah, yes. I think Serbs murdering innocent people is bad, therefore I am Islamic. Serbocrazy logic.

And on the pages of Free Republic for all to read. Gee, guess you haven't been counting the number of non-Serbs who now respond to your bizarre postings.

Good Christian Americans just won't stand for seeing your lies go unchallenged.

But I know that you draw some sort of comfort by imagining yourself as some valiant warrior standing against the Serbian hordes as you laud the Islamic terrorist who strike at them and at us (that's Americans, dude) as well.

Bad?

So is showing up on threads involving the clear aggression being committed against the Serbs (among others) by the Muslim terrorists and launching into your standard histrionics about how the evil, sub-human Serbs deserve it because Arkan was a Serb.

It's pathetic, un-Christian, and un-American.

If you think you'll get away with it unchallenged, you're dreaming. Free Republic is about much more noble endeavors. Lies will be challenged, regardless of how many times you shriek them.

But thanks for demonstrating for folks how virulent the hatred directed against the Serbs truly is.

Hello, once again, you have to lie to make your point.

I never said that the Serbs "deserve it because Arkan was a Serb." What I said was that it is Nazi to scream about Kosovo while pretending Srebrenica and all that went with it didn't happen. It's like screaming about Polish ethnic cleansing of the German territories in 1945 while conveniently forgetting a little contratemps in 1939.

The fault is not of "all Serbs," it is the fault of the Serb leaders who thought that war was better than losing the next election and the Serb Nazis who thought stealing fridges was a really cool idea.

"Be of good cheer, Master Ridley, and play the man, for we shall this day light such a candle in England as I trust by God's grace shall never be put out." ~Hugh Latimer, ishop and martyr (6 October 1555)

These are they who have contended for their Savior's honor long,
wrestling on till life was ended, foll'wing not the sinful throng;
these, who well the fight sustained, triumph through the Lamb have gained.

These whose hearts were riven, sore with woe and anguish tried,
who in prayer full oft have striven with the God they glorified;
now, their painful conflict o'er, God has bed them weep no more.

Actually, what you really do is dare people to make any mention of Kosovo or the ethnic-cleansing of the Krajina whatsoever without first groveling over crimes that no poster had anything to do with!

Sure enough, there you'll be, ranting about things you allege to have seen in Bosnia as if the actions of Arkan's thugs have forever condemned the entire Serbian people to suffer horrible wrongs without being permitted to object in any way.

And get it right, your precious Muslims were the ones wearing the swastika in Bosnia.

Nice try. I should certainly hope that no poster had anything to do with them. I have never called any of YOU guys killers, as such, in the first person; if I did then I'd deserve to be banned, cuz it ain't true.

(Although I do properly refer to anyone as a SerboNazi who thinks that things such as the massacre at Srebrenica was an objective good.)

So they did. In 1943. IN 1991 the Nazis used a cross with 4 c's instead of broken legs.

Were the Serbs in 1991 Nazis? Judging from what they did, the VRS and paramilitaries and thier leaders ALL failed the duck test. Quack quack.

Were the Serbs in 1991 Nazis?

As a people, you mean? Of course not.

Did they have criminals in their society, just as we have in ours? Yes.

That some Serb criminals committed crimes in Srebrenica does not deprive other Serbs from decrying crimes committed against other innocent Serbs in Kosovo, Bosnia, or the Krajina.

But let anyone even mention a crime against a Serb and here comes the Ronly Bonly Dodo-Bird, "Srebrenica! Squawk! Srebrenica! Squawk! Srebrenica! Squawk! You can't complain because of Srebrenica! Squawk!"

You fail you own test, ducky.

Everytime I read an issue like this I woudl get so confused who is who?

There are Slavic Muslims and Arab Muslims or MidEastern Muslims!

When I was in high school (60's) I had a teacher who all of her family was killed by the Communist Iraqie, they were sliced up, she was from that area.

Years later I would frequent a local chain coffee shop (Clocks) in downtown Detroit there also would be a man who also attentend there often and he hated the Iraqi and also talked about chopping up people.

I never talked to the person (nor wanted to) he worked there I guess in the evenings and was quite an emotional being, he would have a hostile energy and spoke loudly as he would boast.

Now this was in the Late 60's and I must say it was alien conversation to the average American IN THOSE DAYS!

Not to mention what then Americans deserve for likes of Andrew Jackson (read of autrocity he and his men make upon Creek Indians during 1st and 2nd Siminal Wars), what then also US deserve for such fine men as General Custer and others who exterminate whole populations of indians...not to mention trail of tears and slavery. What do spanish and British deserve? Or Germans, Japanese, Italians? All had more then few murderers...well all peoples but most humble and loving of peace...Islamics....why they show you brotherly love all day every day.

look, serbs fighting on their land, for their constitutional rights, and during fights people die, muslims and serbs, yeah, but who started the war? who was threatening to whom? who was calling for islamic state? who was denying genocide over serbs in two world wars? And now, what shoudl serbs have done? stay calm? they did, and two times suffered genocide! yah, now because of revenge for murders of serbian civilians, when few hundreds of muslim soldiers, men, adults, were killed in revenge, now that's proof of serbian genocide, nazism, and ...??? BS, and you all know it!

The cases of Muslims being slaughtered by Christians are far fewer than when the roles of those doing the slaying have been reversed.
