*Noe also had Hoodia Trees on board

"You have to be doing some very funny mental gymnastics to be anything but a YEC in the face of the evidence today."

Well, keep an eye on Calista Flockhart. If she continues her water and air binging, she'll soon like a pillar of salt.

BTW, do you think the story of Lot's wife actual history or an allegory?

Magic is what David Copperfield does. Copperfield can say "Abracadabra" but his word does not actually make anything disappear.

God?

Isaias...55... So shall my word be, which shall go forth from my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please, and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.

That's just about the level that takes a doubling of the Earth's water to reach, assuming the mountain was as high 5000 years ago as now.

Where did that much water come from?

From the faucet.

Where did it go?

Down the drain.

Sheesh. You think you people would know about this sort of stuff.

Actually it's the fourth, but it is certainly the most believable one.

Weren't all of them?

Noah's arc discoveries used to be a regular event for readers of the National Enquirer, Midnight Star, and Weekly World News in the old days.

Is this the same area that at one time contained a monastery?

Until some dating is done on the evidence, I won't jump for joy just yet.

"Weren't all of them?"

Little was ever presented to the public from previous sites.

Doesn't everybody find a seagoing vessel atop a mountain? You're right. This happens all the time. We just don't know about all the other arks built in anticipation of the deluge. They were like bomb shelters in the 50's - everyone had to have their ark because everyone knew that God was going to wield the flood. In fact, I saw this on an episode of "Happy Days".

Did Noah intentionally load termites on board the Ark or did they just catch a ride without Noah's knowledge? Once the termites were on the Ark how did Noah keep the termites from eating the wood the ark was made from?

What about Helen Thomas? Did Noah load her on board or did Helen sneak on board the Ark.

Thanks for the ping. I'm not going to ping the list, just adding it to the catalog.

Just adding this to the GGG catalog, not sending a general distribution.

To all -- please ping me to other topics which are appropriate for the GGG list. Thanks.
Please FREEPMAIL me if you want on or off the

Danny. In all seriousness, there is just no evidence for a world wide flood, no matter how much you try to stretch or twist the evidence.

Ever think that the flood story is a lesson that was not to be taken as a literal event?

these types of question would seem to say more about the lack of knowledge and power of H.P.P. than it says about the knowledge and power of God.

"With Man it is impossible, with God all things are possible."

You still cannot explain SN1987A as a YEC.
