You scored as Traditional Catholic. You look at the great piety and holiness of the Church before the Second Vatican Council and the decay of belief and practice since then, and see that much of the decline is due to failed reforms based on the "Spirit of the Council". You regret the loss of vast numbers of Religious and Ordained clergy and the widely diverging celebrations of the Mass of Pope Paul VI, which often don't even seem to be Catholic anymore. You are helping to rebuild this past culture in one of the many new Traditional Latin Mass communities or attend Eastern Catholic Divine Liturgy. You seek refuge from the world of pornography, recreational drugs, violence, and materialism. You are an articulate, confident, committed, and intelligent Catholic. But do you support legitimate reform of the Church, and are you willing to submit to the directives of the Second Vatican Council? Will you cooperate responsibly with others who are not part of the Traditional community? http://saint-louis.blogspot.com - Rome of the West

If there was a “What type of woman are you?” quiz, you would score as a typical know-it-all, because you take personality tests for OTHER PEOPLE and determine what they are!

:-)

It is interesting that you scored higher on Finney than Luther.

Luther was still Catholic compared to Finney.....

I agree with you; I'm more in sympathy with Luther than Finney. It's also odd that I got a high Calvin and a low Luther; you'd think those two would track more closely.

I think perhaps you have to hit "agree" on the "Papacy is a tool of the devil" question to get a high Luther score.

Luther (and probably Calvin) were “more Catholic” than most of the feel-good, Kumbaya-singing, post-Vatican II CINOs who are polluting the Church today. When you look at what they do and how they act, it is obvious (though most of them would be horrified by the suggestion) that they have less respect for papal authority than any of the original Protestant Reformation leaders.

I hear that some posters get the two of us confused.

(; I hope that continues, dear A-Girl! I admire and love you very much, and any quality in thee which another finds in me (to any measure) is cause for my overflowing joy and praise to Our Father indeed. I aspire to your maturity in faith, hope, and love. You are a great gift of a Graciously Giving God to this little learning one. I am simply glad to know you; I would never have guessed (imagined, or thought to ask of the Giver that) I might be considered alike to you - yet here we are, praise Jesus.

I suspect when people get us confused it is because they see Christ in us. To God be the glory!

Praise Jesus!

Thank you for your encouragements, dear sister in Christ! May God bless you always.

You’re right!

But, there’s still the issue of YOU being 7% LIBERAL!

Wow...that's a little surprising. Of course, I didn't think too hard about any of the questions...just sort of answered according to first inclination.

I took the same approach and also got Anselm at 100%. The funny part is that I don't even know who he is. :)

I think I did this one before and came out to be somewhere between Calvin and Luther. But I’ll try again.

WHY is Karl Barth up there so close to Luther???

You scored as Martin Luther, The daddy of the Reformation. You are opposed to any Catholic ideas of works-salvation and see the scriptures as being primarily authoritative.

How do they figure on Karl Barth being a close equivalent to Luther? He was a socialist and liberation theologian. Yeeks.
