I agree with you wholeheartedly. I leave it to God to sort out whether it matters or not. In my humble opinion the Church has more pressing things to worry about these days.

We will be happy to do the same for your ancestors, and if you don’t find any reason to find that offensive, then it is inconsistant to validate the claim of others to being offended.

I am not personally offended by the mormonism practice of
predatory baptism. Please feel free to proceed for my entire ancestral
line back to Adam, twice.
I do understand why many would find it offensive that a cult
would be baptizing their dead loved ones.
I find those two beliefs compatible. Sorry you do not.
