Since there is nothing in God’s law that says He will return on a particular feast day, the best we can say is that it is a Jewish fable. If there was anything in the law to make such a connection I’m sure you would have quoted it.

Nothing in the Law says that.....but scripture sure points that way: From Xenia and Jeremiah (post #'s 15 and 87: There is only one Feast Day commanded by YHvH for which no man knows the day nor hour. (XeniaSt)*** I love to point out that Yeshua narrowed it down when He said no man knows the day or hour. Another interesting fact is it’s always one of two days in this world, Australia being one day ahead of U.S. So it’s true I don’t know the day or hour but I know the festival. (Jeremiah Jr.)

Rosh Hashanah is thought to be the anniversary of the creation of the world (The Head of the Year). It is also known as "The Feast of Trumpets". [Leviticus 23:23-25] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
[1 Corinthians 15:51-53] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Paul speaks of Jewish fables that are to be avoided by God's people. The theory that Jesus will return on one of the old covenant feasts is one of them since it has no support from the Bible. Many folks get absorbed into these arbitrary, faddish ideas because they are ignorant both of the Bible and the historical teachings of the Church.
