No, it isn’t easy. Yet we are assured that Christ’s grace is sufficient for all our sins, and though we may be horrified we pray for his salvation, still.

It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if Teddy takes the “Repenter’s Clause” when he’s near death in an effort to absolve his rotten soul.

I understand that completely and I detest most everything he stands for in his public life. I also honor the fact that you are willing to pray for him because I believe God honors that willingness on your part. It is naturally difficult - maybe even impossible - to pray for the good of those who offend us, but God offers us the means to go beyond the “natural”. You are taking Him up on that offer and absolutely doing the right thing.
