This evening I heard on my local news in upstate New York that a dad shook his baby, and threw it on a bed. First I heard the baby is not expected to make it through the night, then I heard that they are going to take the baby off life support tonight.
Heaven grows every day by the loss of the innocent—both before and after their births.

A 26-year-old Troy man is facing a charge of attempted murder after his four-month-old baby was diagnosed with shaken baby syndrome, police said Tuesday.
Adrian Thomas was arraigned in Troy City Court Tuesday morning after his infant, Matthew Thomas, was determined to have sustained significant brain damage due to trauma to the head.
Hospital officials contacted Rensselaer County Child Protective Services Sunday after the discovery, said Troy Police Assistant Chief Richard McAvoy.
Matthew, who is a twin, remains in the hospital. Matthew’s twin brother and their five siblings have been taken into custody by Rensselaer Child Protective Services.
The mother was not at home at the time of the incident and so far has not been charged, police said.
Thomas is reported to be 500 pounds, said McAvoy.”

I googled up some stories about this, and one of them said they’re going to harvest Matthew’s organs. Why am I not surprised?
It’s not uncommon to remove basic care from brain injured patients shortly after their injuries. It saves on red tape.
RIP little one. And may your twin brother never know such horror.
Prayers for baby Matthew but also for his mother and abusive father who will carry this memory with him for the rest of his life.
What a sad story.
