... and again, I want to make very clear that I do not mean to blame Orthodoxy itself for such atrocities. Satan exploits whatever weakness he finds, and weakness is universal. The abominations of Western liturgy is the flip side of the subservience of the East. In the East, nominal worship corroded even the human will until worship itself was lost. In the West, proper worship was abandoned, and with it, morality until any worship at all was lost. Texas COnfederate’s protestations aside, we need each other.
