The “y” in Hebrew is translated in the west as “J”, the “I” in Greek becomes “J”.
But I don’t think Jesus cares if we call him “Jesus”, “Yeshua”, or “Iasus” as long as we call Him “Lord” of our lives.

I have yet to meet the person qualified to judge another persons heartfelt beliefs about Jesus.
- - - - - - - - - -
What is in their heart, no. Their TEACHINGS? Yes.
As another freeper once said:
A false gospel by a false prophet will only lead to a false sense of salvation. (Godzilla).

You can judge another’s teaching but if you possess the humility Christ seemed to favor you might need to be prepared to be wrong.

From the article:
The Jesus of Mormonism is the spirit brother of Lucifer. Both are sons of a god who was once a man and one of his many wives. This Jesus became a human as the result of a sexual union between the Mormon god and an unmarried Jewish girl named Mary. Hes often called the Savior but never Lord, because although hes one of gods sons, hes not god. If he determines that youve done everything you possibly can to earn your own salvation and are still short, hell graciously make up the difference. Hell return at the End of the Age, having protected his saints through the time of Great Tribulation, to set up his kingdom.Re: "If he determines that you've done everything you possibly can to earn your salvation and are still short, he'll graciously make up the difference." Yup, this sizes up the Book of Mormon approach: 2 Nephi 25:23: ...saved by grace AFTER ALL YOU CAN DO
Anybody wanna raise their hands & claim they've done EVERYTHING they could ever do? Spiritually? Physically? Emotionally? Relationally? Soulfully? Following thru on all good plans & priorities? No sins of omission?
What? No Takers?

The BIBLE is not wrong. My teachings/beliefs are based upon that. I have no fear of being wrong as long as it is based upon the Word of God.
For me the litmus test for Christianity is the person work and nature of Jesus Christ. Much outside of that is minor.
Christ taught me humility. It is not arrogance to share the Word of God with others.

[ The y in Hebrew is translated in the west as J, the I in Greek becomes J. ]
Wrong.... the "J" comes from latin..
Translating hebrew and greek into latin is/was a mistake..

How is what I said wrong? Rome WAS the west (and its lingua franca was Latin.
So I was right. BTW, how many years of Latin, Greek and Hebrew have you had? Just curious.

So, after almost 500 years of Protestantism and “Bible Alone” theology about 50% of professed Christians do not believe Jesus is divine.
500 years ago, how many professed Christians would have answered that way?
Very, very few.
