You said — I seem to believe that this wasn’t true and there was a full representation of the Ark complete with the original Ten Commandments and other artifacts that were inside the Ark present during the time of Herod’s Temple (the 2nd temple) and therefore the one in Ethiopia could not be the true Ark.

Nope, it wasn’t around for Herod’s Temple. And I believe it was gone at the time of the Babylonian captivity. I think it was hidden to prevent them from getting it.

However, they hid it so good that no one can find it today... LOL...

You said — More of the religious loopyness we’ve come to expect from World Net Daily.

Well, you can’t criticize WorldNetDaily for reporting what others have made a big announcement about. I mean..., the alternative (apparently, if I understand right...) is if someone else makes this kind of announcement or something happens in the world, that some news reporting site is supposed to keep silent if they don’t like what those people are saying or doing or it doesn’t accord with their own philosophy (or maybe it does, but some readers might not like reading it... LOL...).

I’m in favor of someone reporting it *all* and then letting the readers sort it out. I don’t think we need more “gatekeepers” like the MSM wants to be for a lot of us...

You said — You can’t be serious ..It’s a load of bullsh*t ..

Well..., I know that it existed at one time in history. That part is solid, as far as I’m concerned. And no one seems to know what happened to it. That’s another part of the story that we know to be true.

So, it’s possible that it could show up again, sometime. As to whether this is the time or the place (or not), I can’t say. But, it’s worth a look-see to find out what they’re talking about...

Personally I’m doubtful about it, but that’s not doubt from it not having existed or doubt about it possibly being around somewhere today — but rather doubtful that *these people* have it... (there’s a difference in that kind of doubt...).

Who knows... but I doubt it...

This is the best time zone map that I’ve seen recently. Daylight Saving Time is also shown. You can click on the map to zoom in.

Having seen so many of the pics of the Red Sea crossing, I don’t consider that speculative any more.

The other stuff is a lot less certain, to me though many of the sites in Sinai have had some corroboration.

LOL! No.

But it probably won’t look like what everyone expect it to.

The same document also tells how the prophet, following a divine revelation, ordered that the tent and the ark should accompany him and how he went off to the mountain which Moses climbed to see God's inheritance [Note: this is in present day Jordan]. When Jeremiah arrived there, he found a room in a cave in which he put the tent, the ark, and the altar of incense; then he blocked up the entrance. Some of those who followed him came up intending to mark the path, but they could not find it. When Jeremiah heard of this, he reproved them: "The place is to remain unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows them mercy. Then the Lord will disclose these things, and the glory of the Lord will be seen in the cloud, just as it appeared in the time of Moses and when Solomon prayed that the Place might be gloriously sanctified."

The stuff down there isn’t anything from the Red Sea Crossing. I know a rather well known and respected Biblical archaologist who has either been down there himself or knew others who had. So don’t get excited about finding anything from Bible times there. It’s an urban legend.

According to a biblical archaeologist who has reliable information about that Red Sea Crossing, there’s nothing from the biblical crossing down there. They’ve taken archaological divers down and found wheels from automobiles, not chariots.

There’s been lots of purported areas researched.

The one I’m talking about has evidence on both shores and undersea encrusted chariots from that period of Egypt—well documented.

Hi Marysecretary..., you said to me — The stuff down there isn’t anything from the Red Sea Crossing. I know a rather well known and respected Biblical archaologist who has either been down there himself or knew others who had. So don’t get excited about finding anything from Bible times there. It’s an urban legend.

And then you said to Quix — According to a biblical archaeologist who has reliable information about that Red Sea Crossing, there’s nothing from the biblical crossing down there. They’ve taken archaological divers down and found wheels from automobiles, not chariots.

First, I would hope that we’re all talking about *the same location*... LOL...

That’s because what is at one place could be wheels from automobiles and from another site, something completely different. And I’m not saying that it’s one or the other, but that I hope we’re all talking about the same location. Because there are some *drastically different locations* being referenced out there.

And then, after we check to see if we’re all at the very same place, I would like to know if your analysis of that (from other sources) still “holds water” (so to speak... LOL...).

But, having said that — that’s really why pictures are one thing and then getting your hands on stuff and analyzing it is quite another. I have not seen that any archeologists have gotten their “hands” on some of the stuff from one particular “crossing location” (if we’re all talking about the same location).

You said — And the dome would have to go too.

Not necessarily...

See this website for three possible locations, two of which would not require the moving of the Dome of the Rock...

http://www.templemount.org/

And, in addition, the Bible kind of “indicates” that there might be a “limiting” of the area available to the Third Temple being built..., in that all the area that it used before, may not be available to it now...
