There are a few Christians in Hollywood, but precious few.
I’m glad to hear we’ve found one more.
In the long run, an actor who has genuine character beneath the role, who is a real person when he is not on screen, will bring a tremendous depth to whatever role he plays.
In any case, either you have integrity or you don’t. He has chosen to have it.
Bark for yourself!
How refreshing for an actor to stand up for his convictions! There’s probably (a few) more out there, but we don’t get to hear about them. Good job, Neal!
He was great as Dave on Desperate Housewives. He pretty much stole every scene he was in, without really trying.
This man is to be admired.
I agree with your every word.
Blessings!!!
You are so right. There is far too much of a immature, frat-boy attitude, whenever the subject of sex is broached.

Ingetrity, standing up for moral principles - he's a very good example for others. For some reason I can't fathom, the general public (generally speaking...) seem to be very interested in the digusting doings of Hollywood actors, sports figures, "musicians" (some are musicians, some do rap or whatever the heck it's called now) - but very few of these famous people are anything other than two legged animals (apologies to actual animals who just follow their nature).
Maybe someone should (or maybe someone already has?) a decent actor/actress/movie list. I never watch movies because I can't stand to watch leftist immoral idiots.
Sex scenes do not sell movies like they think it does.
It would come as a surprise to them that some people actually don’t buy movies because of that reason.
I’ve seen too many otherwise good movies ruined because they put an irrelevant sex scene in it that has nothing to do with the plot.
People with no values and morals can’t stand those who have them and act on them.
It condemns them without words and they feel that condemnation in their hearts.
Be prepared for incoming with that comment.
But you’re right and many of us agree with you.
One of the best movies I’ve seen lately, besides the Narnia ones, was *Miracle*, the hockey movie, believe it or not.
I never thought that I’d enjoy a movie about a hockey team but aside from a very little slightly off color language, the movie was VERY clean. The worst that happened was that the coach gave his wife a kiss.

I call those the “Beavis and Butthead” threads.
I used to have a website marked that listed decent movies. Old ones, too. I have no idea where it is now, that was years ago. I rarely if ever watch movies but if I did (or would in the future) they’d have to be ones with no horrible surprises.
The man respects and loves his wife more than his acting career. How refreshing!
http://www.decentfilms.com is a resource you might find useful. Steven D. Greydanus is the owner. He gives frequent interviews on Catholic Radio about movies and their decency.
He was great in The Guardian!
