Evidently the root word meanings of that prophecy have to do with the Gospel being preached to every people group/language group.
They have it whittled down to a very manageable number—I forget how many—say 20 or 30 people groups left. In any case, however many it is, they believe they can accomplish that task—fini—within 12 or so years. And I think that was a couple of years ago—so it may be 10 or so years now.
They realized they needed to change their strategy from translating Scripture into—in many cases—a new written language for a language that had never been written—then teaching folks to read their newly written language.
Now, they are translating the Scriptures and putting them on MP3 players that are hand crank and/or solar powered.
Then they are going to a village and asking for who “the man of peace” is in that village. Then they are giving the MP3 player to THE MAN OF PEACE after getting an agreement from him to play it 30 minutes once a week for the village and then discussing it for 30 minutes.
Many churches have sprung up spontaneously from such—ran well strictly according to Biblical principles—as that’s all they had. And God has often showed up with signs and wonders accordingly per I Cor 12-14.
PRAISE GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS.
If orget the name of the org pioneering in that effort. It’s based in Albuquerque.
It shortens the time for a people group to have the Gospel presented to them considerably.
Wow I am glad. Thats amazing!
I knew you would know something like that.
