When one becomes comfortable, and has himself convinced that prophetic Scripture is something that men have found a way to ignore and discard and therefore there is nothing to concern oneself with, it is extremely threatening to have that comfort shattered by those who haven't bought into the delusions about Christ's return that men have created for themselves.
