>>does Christmas fall on a pagan celebration!<<

Nowhere in the pages of scripture do we find a command to keep the celebration of Christmas. Nowhere in the pages of scripture do we find an example of any disciple keeping Christmas. The only time Christmas is even mentioned in the pages of scripture is to condemn it

Jere 10:1 (NKJV) Hear the word which Yahweh speaks to you, O house of Israel. 2 Thus says Yahweh: “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the peoples are futile; For one cuts a tree from the forest, The work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. 4 They decorate it with silver and gold; They fasten it with nails and hammers So that it will not topple.

God sent a series of prophets to the nation of Israel in an attempt to warn them of the impending consequences of adopting the idolatrous religious practices of their neighbors. Isaiah was instructed to write: “Your appointed feasts My soul hates” (Isaiah 1:14–15). Amos recorded: “I hate, I despise your feast days, and I do not savor your sacred assemblies” (Amos 5:21–23). Hosea warned Israel: “I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her New Moons, her Sabbaths—all her appointed feasts” (Hosea 2:11).

I have taken the position of trying to find what God instructed us to do regarding feast days or what days to celebrate and to find what pracices he hated or condemned.

Gollies...

I think I’m right about this next...

and the mormons had a Christmas tree in the 200th birthday display for Joey Smith in that cute little mock up of a cabin complete with cradle for the 23 Dec big doings...

But then I guess its OK to have a Christmas tree in the Smith cabin for the baby Joey...

Just as long as there is no celebration for Jesus , and DEFINITELY no Christmas tree...

GF do you have the pic of the glassed in Joey-in-the-manger ???
