Sadly, the Coptic Church tried to get along with Muslims by attacking the Jews. Obviously it did not work for the Christians in Egypt. The West should be aware of what is happening in this corner of the World, because what’s happening in Egypt and Middle East today will be the reality of Europe in few years if they do not wake up.
That's what most of the Middle Eastern churches do. They issued a statement a few years back attacking Biblical Fundamentalists ("Zionist chr*stianity is not chr*stianity at all"), and one of the Armenian Patriarchs (the one in Antelias, Lebanon) visited the Hezbollah front lines and declared that his church considers slain Hezbollah terrorists as "martyrs." But Zionists and Fundamentalists have it in their silly heads that these people are their friends.
