If you believe St. Iranaeus and the other church fathers, then why are you condemning the Church that they were part of?
WERE part of being the key phrase. Were, as in past tense, used to be.
Sad to say the RCC as it exists today wouldn't be recognized by the church fathers. THEY would be protestant today. Their writing far more frequently lines up with Protestant belief than they will ever line up with the heresies practiced by the RCC which THEY condemned already. Since they have already condemned the RCC I don't have to condemn anyone. You guys are doing a fine job all by yourself!
You would know this if you got away from Catholic agologetics once in a while and actually read them apart from said same apologetics groups TELLING you what THEY said rather than reading it for yourself.
