yes, they have no place on a religion discussion webpage, much less on a conservative religion discussion webpage. I have been lurking and I see that when there is less play with formats and less annoying pictures, there is more understanding among Christians and people read what each other are writing.
I don't think this forum requires a font and photo police force.
Everyone has their idiosyncrasies. We're all free to ignore anything we choose.
As far as "annoying pictures" go, I've seen Roman Catholics get extremely "annoyed" at the following photo. Does that mean we shouldn't post it?
Awwwwwwwwwwwww
how touching . . .
Do we need to take up a collection for a new scroll button or a new page down key?
What is this compulsion to squeeze everyone out of a cookie cutter or throw them in the trash?
I thought that was liberals’ gig!
We love Quix’s pictures! And they often break up the otherwise tension...seen and noted by most. Sometimes we laugh so hard everybody gets the giggles...photos lighten up the thread.
I didn’t say they have no place. It’s not my job to tell other people where their ideosyncracies should be placed.
I simply expressed the message they communicated to me, in case the poster had a different purpose and would like to know the approach was counter-productive.
It’s like telling someone their fly is unzipped. You aren’t ordering them to zip it up, just letting them know about something they might not have intended.
