Does God just like to surprise me all the time?

Ok, so we know that God is good and works in mysterious ways, but he always keeps surprising me! The answer he provides always seems to be one I've never even thought of... and sometimes one I really don't want!

With that in mind... I found this article very interesting... I wonder if you can relate (feel free to leave comments on the article comments-section)

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

This encouraging Bible verse should be memorized by all Christians. When life starts to get you down and circumstances look bleak, this is the Bible verse that ought to come to mind. We sometimes forget who is in control of our destiny’s. We can’t understand all the intricate details of how or why things happen in the sequence that they do.

If God surprises you now, just read “The Light and the Glory”, by Peter Marshall and David Manuel! In my opinion, t is the most compelling, well written and true book next only to the Holy Bible. After reading what God did to deliver His people to His New Jerusalem, then lending His loving hand to shape it’s destiny,nothing should surprise you. The great tragedy is what the American people have done to trash the greatest country ever given by drawing away from Him and His righteousness.

I keep learning more aspects of this verse.

We all as believers have been given spiritual gifts uniquely to us. Some mihave similar spiritual gifts, but not all believers have the same spiritual gifts.

We do have equal opportunity in this Church Age to come to Him through faith in Christ, that He continues to sanctify us.

He has a Plan and a specific plan for us where things have been logistically prepared for us before we were born. The trick is to be in the right place, at the right time, through faith in Him.

The more we grow in Him, sometimes the more we observe how He has molded the situation.

It is incredibly glorious to be in the right place, at the right time, to act through faith in Him, performing by His Will, as an agent for His Plan, always glorifying Christ.

In many ways it is only as hard as we make it, because the entire fight is His work. Have the struggle is simply to rest and place faith in Him, using what He has prepared us to work with in obedience to His Will.

We might have fantastic worldly talents, but in His Plan it might be a much simpler spiritual gift which He has chosen to use in a much less obvious fashion, fulfilling our place in His Plan by His agenda.

Don’t let the cosmic worldly system get you down, either by its unrighteousness or unjust consequences, and even moreso, do not be fooled by worldly systems offering righteous or just solutions in worldly terms as counterfeits to His Plan. They are simply good for nothingness by eternal standards.

Hence, the inexcusable lunacy of those who keep drawing maps of imaginary futures -- always, futures filled with gloom, doom, and the global triumph of evil.

I'd rather cast my life into the care of the God Who defeats His enemies and prospers His gospel in unpredictable ways.

You can count on God continually surprising you. Indeed, I have learned that God’s answers always surprise me—it’s one way I know it’s Him answering. It’s His hallmark, revealing Himself as vastly more loving and capable than I can even imagine. As Paul wrote to the Ephesians (3:20), “[He]is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us....” It is how He builds our faith in Him as He really is.
