Gosh, I’ll kinda miss Paragon Defender. Using REAL LDS material to play the cats vs. mouse game with P.D. was fascinating. It was as if P.D. was a young mouse attempting to outwit a pair of wily old barn cats. The question is where and when will our eager young mouse reappear?

I am not sure but I don’t believe the word simular is the same as saying one is!

In today's world, it's understandably bad to use such terms when addressing other people. Heck, it should be in any world. Come on. It's simply wrong.

So if Joseph Smith said that all other churches were wrong, you would call that “hate”?

"We are the favored people that God has made choice of"

I believe this is where your belief succeeds or fails. I won't ask for proof as that would be theologically and worldly impossible. But I would ask for clarification on how one can still call the Bible a basis for one's doctrine, yet insist that God gave his true church to a man 1800+ years after His Son walked the Earth, bringing that one true church to the World.

Is Christ our Savior, or only a prophet?

But did Joseph say that or was it an answer to his question to the Lord and the Lord said...

18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.

19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”

20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time. When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home. And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, “Never mind, all is well—I am well enough off.” I then said to my mother, “I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.” It seems as though the adversary was aware, at a very early period of my life, that I was destined to prove a disturber and an annoyer of his kingdom; else why should the powers of darkness combine against me? Why the opposition and persecution that arose against me, almost in my infancy?

If one is honest many have trouble with organized earthly churches so belong to none but try to follow the Lord’s teachings.

Dose one really thing in the last days the Lord would His children unprepared to know what is what

and just leave many of the passages in the Bible ambiguous...

to what ever float your boat

there is order in the Lord kingdom

you tell me who on earth today is more prepared to help others?

God left nothing ambiguous. The ambiguity comes from us who are sinful and unable to understand without the aid of the Holy Spirit. Therein lies your misunderstanding of God's will. He has spoken. Have we listened? If you question his Word, then I wonder...

I hear you but many will not rely on the Holy Ghost many have mocked and made fun and only rely on the Bible even it passages contradict itself because of a lack of knowing how to unlock those passages which The Book of Mormon has unlocked and clarified.

Prepared? Maybe "prepared", but "willing"...I say not.

Another of mormonism's lies, that they will help "others" If they do it will be after they help themselves, IF they deem the "others" worthy...

What an individual thinks and says is not the doctrine and like all need to be reminded to put away the natural man if they choose to walk with the Lord.

Well, they didn't help my Aunt and Uncle as she laid in the hospital for weeks on end, and he was a bishop. Only one person offered food to my Uncle and young cousins, they brought pizza on Thanks Giving Day.

When lds "help" (if they help at all) yet ask to be paid back, sorry sister that's not help.

Both the Methodist Church and...

The Presbyterian Church...

which excommunicated him and his family in 1830...

UH

TEN YEARS AFTER da mormon lord had ordered him not to join...

Oh SNAP

Well although they have 100s of BILLIONS its not the mormons...

so “prepared” yeah ya could say the 100s of BILLIONS the mormon corporation has swindled from their followers could ber considered “preparation”

But no the money is for the comfort and salaries of the top few white guys in the mormon pyramid scheme

and not for helping women or colored folk like the Japanese..

Witness the selfishness of the mormons towards the Haitians...

and the Maoris in New Zealand...

and the black Christians in dire need in the Ivory Coast

First, if people will not rely on the Holy Ghost, that’s to their detriment. That’s not an issue. The Holy Ghost is one of the Trinity. And as for the Book of Mormon unlocking and clarifying passages of the Bible, that is the Holy Ghost’s work. If one doesn’t shun Him, one will succeed. Sorry, but one can put oneself ahead of our true givers of the faith. That is a sorry state in which to be.

Well, a lot of that is alarmist for sure. But I’m going to take that with a grain of salt. First, it appears mostly German Mormons, and that leaves a large opening for debate when it comes to following Mormon beliefs.

Understand, I’m not a follower of Mormonism. Nor am I an apologist. However, I prefer debating my beliefs based on published doctrinal differences. I’m not sure such stuff doesn’t weaken such debate.
