My priest has shared that in the last two years there have been numberous confession by people who have been away from the church 5, 10, even 40 years. (And that’s out here in the west!)

So keep praying!

I sense that as a very good sign that people, be they newbies coming into the RC Church via being recieved or by being baptized, as well as those coming back into the Church who have been away for a long time. This past Saturday, saw a long, very long line at my parish.

Also BTW, after so many years of spiritual/Catholic faith struggles, and having gone twice this Lent to confession, and while singing during the communion ritual in my choir, I began to tear-up. Had broken down and cried during the time after the communion song was sung. I had sensed that I had a very special “God moment” when I had gotten the full mercy and peace of the Divine Mercy.
