DeMoss isn't a more "liberal" Baptist member...like the American Baptist denomination...he's a Southern Baptist, for crying out loud. A Liberty U grad. Sorry. But his church affiliation and background doesn't convey what you've just opined.

I realize that...so the only other explanation is, despite him being a Southern Baptist and a believer in the falsehood of LDS, he is merely in it "for the money" as another Freeper speculated, and his faith is easily displaced when it comes down to getting the Almighty Dollar?
