If you can come for air for a minute from pushing Romney, then read this old past post of mine.

“The Romney candidacy goes far beyond being unpalatable, or a bad match, or too moderate, to be our preferred candidate, Romney is a candidate that we must choose to fight even into the general election.”

yeah, i’m really pushing romney. LOL!

i am quite confident that if it came down to a choice between romney and zero, romney would get 99.9% of the FR vote. your JR quote is for the primary and i agree with him.

why don’t you man up and admit you would rather have zero as president than romney? come on, the truth will set you free!!

Is there any way to find our if Obama’s father has been made a Mormon in their voodoo fashion?

So what do we do when those who profess Christ and yet vote to fund Planned Parenthood runs against a truly pro-life Mormon?

- — - -
Assume the Mormon is lying. Sorry, been there done that, know their MO.

I WILL NEVER EVER EVER vote for a Mormon. I know too much about them. They redefine EVERYTHING in their Religion, and I’ve seen them do it in politics.

And Mormons will vote for Romney in the primary, they are conditioned to favor their own and many see this as a way to gain acceptance and converts (and they will use it that way). The leadership sees it as a way to slow down the hemorrhage of membership that is occurring and bolster their growth rate (which is currently at 0% officially and probably closer to -20% in actuality).

Mormons always have ulterior motives. I found that out the hard way, while I was training to be a Mormon missionary.

Is that true Jim? Personally, I read your posts totally different.

I used to be married to a Mormon and I’ve had enough up-close-and-personal exposure to that so-called religion to know that its public façade is nothing like the mumbo-jumbo cultic behavior that goes on in private.

Worth a repost. You get it.

And some Mormons eventually get it and get out (see tagline).

let’s review - zero is pro-abotion and will appoint every left wing pro abortion judge he can find and we will lose the supreme court for 30 years. romney is also pro abortion, but will claim to be pro life for the general and will probably appoint conservative judges, including possible replacement for ruth bader.

doesn’t seem like a tough call to me!

so if the choice is romney v. zero, you would vote for zero????

I will vote my conscience. I will no longer hold my nose and vote and I cannot in good conscience vote for Romney. I will vote 3rd party and leave the GOP if he gets the nomination.

I’m sick of RINOS and Romney = Obama (just paler). The GOP establishment is who needs to take a hike. As I said earlier we need to make sure Romney doesn’t get the nomination, that is the only hope this country has. We need to stop this counter-factual that it will be Romney vs. Obama.

i would never support a socialist, homosexual promoting, abortion loving, pro-tax thug like Obama over Romney

But Romney is all those things as well.

I won’t be voting for Romney. If he gets the nomination, I’ll be campaigning full time against him. There will be NO campaign for an abortionist, homo agenda pushing, gun grabbing, big government, mandate loving, statist, RINO, political whore on FR. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever!!

Anyone who doesn’t like that is more than welcome to take his RINO loving free speech rights elsewhere.

Rebellion is brewing.

GO TEA PARTY!!!

Mormons will vote for Mormons over conservatives. For them, it is all about what furthers ‘the Church’, and a Mormon POTUS will do that.

If Utah was conservative, why did it go 94% for Romney in the primary? I lived in Utah (Provo specifically) and it isn’t nearly as conservative behind closed doors as people think.

Here is a thread by the owner that you may want to read, it answers all your questions, about whether your pro-Romney efforts will have any pay-off here, and whether JR will support Romney if he wins the nomination.

If Mitt Romney is in, I'm out! Declaration of Independence of Jim Robinson, But Romney is a NO go. And I don't care who this socialist, abortionist, homosexualist, constitution trampling bastard picks for running mate. If Romney's in I'm out! G.O.P., R.I.P!

BTW, one of the reasons I converted to Mormonism (as a teenager) was because of the perception they are strongly conservative. I was shocked, and dismayed, to find out otherwise after I was in ‘the Church’ and moreso when I moved to Utah.

Worthy Mormon males are temple attending, dressing in white with special learned handshakes, altar rituals, Masonic rites and gestures and do secretive activities different from normal society.

Don LeFevre, a past spokesman for the church has said the church,

"...strongly advises its members not to affiliate with organizations that are secret, oath-bound,
or would cause them to lose interest in church activities."

[Salt Lake Tribune Section D1, Monday Feb. 17, 1992]

There goes all the Temple Recommends!

They would not listen, however, but persisted in their former practices.
Even while these people were worshiping the Lord, they were serving their idols.
To this day their children and grandchildren continue to do as their fathers did.

I'm going to let Jesus Christ make that decision. Not some loud and well organized cabal of religious bigots.

Yeah!

What YOU said!!

Joseph Smith continues: "for the teachers of religion of the different sects understood the same passages of scripture so differently as to destroy all confidence in settling the question by an appeal to the Bible" (from 1:12). "What is it that inspires professors of Christianity generally with a hope of salvation? It is that smooth, sophisticated influence of the devil, by which he deceives the whole world" (, p.270).

Questions put to Joseph Smith: "'Do you believe the Bible?' [Smith:]'If we do, we are the only people under heaven that does, for there are none of the religious sects of the day that do'. When asked 'Will everybody be damned, but Mormons'? [Smith replied] 'Yes, and a great portion of them, unless they repent, and work righteousness." (, p. 119).

Brigham Young stated this repeatedly: "When the light came to me I saw that all the so-called Christian world was grovelling in darkness" ( 5:73); "The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God" ( 8:171); "With a regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived than the present so-called Christian world" ( 8:199); "And who is there that acknowledges [God's] hand? ...You may wander east, west, north, and south, and you cannot find it in any church or government on the earth, except the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" (, vol. 6, p.24); "Should you ask why we differ from other Christians, as they are called, it is simply because they are not Christians as the New Testament defines Christianity" ( 10:230).

Orson Pratt proclaimed: "Both Catholics and Protestants are nothing less than the 'whore of Babylon' whom the Lord denounces by the mouth of John the Revelator as having corrupted all the earth by their fornications and wickedness. Any person who shall be so corrupt as to receive a holy ordinance of the Gospel from the ministers of any of these apostate churches will be sent down to hell with them, unless they repent" (, p. 255).

Pratt also said: "This great apostasy commenced about the close of the first century of the Christian era, and it has been waxing worse and worse from then until now" (, vol.18, p.44) and: "But as there has been no Christian Church on the earth for a great many centuries past, until the present century, the people have lost sight of the pattern that God has given according to which the Christian Church should be established, and they have denominated a great variety of people Christian Churches, because they profess to be ...But there has been a long apostasy, during which the nations have been cursed with apostate churches in great abundance" (, 18:172).

President John Taylor stated: "Christianity...is a perfect pack of nonsense...the devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work than the Christianity of the nineteenth century." (, vol. 6, p.167); "Where shall we look for the true order or authority of God? It cannot be found in any nation of Christendom." (, 10:127).
James Talmage said: "A self-suggesting interpretation of history indicates that there has been a great departure from the way of salvation as laid down by the Savior, a universal apostasy from the Church of Christ". (, p.182).

President Joseph Fielding Smith said: "Doctrines were corrupted, authority lost, and a false order of religion took the place of the gospel of Jesus Christ, just as it had been the case in former dispensations, and the people were left in spiritual darkness." (, p.266). "For hundreds of years the world was wrapped in a veil of spiritual darkness, until there was not one fundamental truth belonging to the place of salvation ...Joseph Smith declared that in the year 1820 the Lord revealed to him that all the 'Christian' churches were in error, teaching for commandments the doctrines of men" (, vol. 3, p.282).

More recent statements by apostle Bruce McConkie are also very clear: "Apostasy was universal...And this darkness still prevails except among those who have come to a knowledge of the restored gospel" (, vol 3, p.265); "Thus the signs of the times include the prevailing apostate darkness in the sects of Christendom and in the religious world in general" (The Millennial Messiah, p.403); "a perverted Christianity holds sway among the so-called Christians of apostate Christendom" (, p.132); "virtually all the millions of apostate Christendom have abased themselves before the mythical throne of a mythical Christ whom they vainly suppose to be a spirit essence who is incorporeal uncreated, immaterial and three-in-one with the Father and Holy Spirit" (, p.269); "Gnosticism is one of the great pagan philosophies which antedated Christ and the Christian Era and which was later commingled with pure Christianity to form the apostate religion that has prevailed in the world since the early days of that era." (, p.316).

President George Q. Cannon said: "After the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized, there were only two churches upon the earth. They were known respectively as the Church of the Lamb of God and Babylon. The various organizations which are called churches throughout Christendom, though differing in their creeds and organizations, have one common origin. They all belong to Babylon" (Gospel Truth, p.324).

President Wilford Woodruff stated: "the Gospel of modern Christendom shuts up the Lord, and stops all communication with Him. I want nothing to do with such a Gospel, I would rather prefer the Gospel of the dark ages, so called" (, vol. 2, p.196).
