The Province of St. Joseph of the Dominican Order, sometimes called the "Eastern" province, released some pictures of their novices, who, traditionally, receive the habit on August 8, St. Dominic's feast day. This photo shows the novices who just finished their novitiate together with those coming in. Please pray for them.

Both St. John Vianney and St. Paul Seminaries are locatedd on the St. Thomas campus in St. Paul.

**St. Paul, Minn. — The St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity at the University of St. Thomas welcomes 33 new men into the seminary this fall. That is the largest class in three decades. Every dorm room on the seminary’s campus is now full, and it has church leaders full of hope.**

At Saint John Vianney and the University of Saint Thomas, 140 seminarians are gaining an outstanding foundation in Philosophy and Theology.  A four-year program of spiritual conferences and individual spiritual direction help seminarians grow strong in their Catholic faith and vocational discernment.

What a fine-looking group of young men! St. Dominic must be proud (the novice masters and the prior look pleased too.)

It's interesting to me to see the different personalities here. You've got the go-getters, the cheerful ones, the thoughtful ones, the shy ones, the tough ones.

They all look very, very happy. Smiles aside, you can't miss the light in the eyes.
